"i just picked it up! i didn't put my finger near the trigger!" cruxx hands the gun to piper

"Uh-huh, sure." Ellen mumbled.

cruxx walked away "that gun has a freaking hair trigger i tell you!"

Rowena watched in confusion. "The fuck?"

"…" cruxx stared at rowena "how long have you been standing there? forget i asked, i'm going to adjust my legs."

"Since around after you screamed." She said, monotonously. "I heard it through my headphones."

"sorry about that by the way." cruxx sits on a bar stool away from kelly to fix the lower part of his exoskeleton better not make things worse

Kelly pushed herself off of the ground with a scoff. "Serves you right," she muttered. She'd never cared for Curxx much. She pulled out her phone and texted Aria.

KELLY: Hey, where are you?

Aria was sitting in the quiet library when she heard saw a notification pop up on her phone. Quickly reading the text message she received from Kelly, she facepalmed herself. "Dang it! I totally forgot about Kelly!"

ARIA: I'll be there in 5 min, I totally forgot! Tell the others I'll be there soon

Kelly smiled and rolled her eyes. Aria was always for forgetful.

KELLY: Sure, but hurry. Cruxx has already broken his leg or something idk…

ARIA: Tell Cruxx good job.

"Aria says good job," Kelly called out to Cruxx, rolling her eyes.

KELLY: Get here soon

"cool!" cruxx walks back to the stool and mumbles as he fixes the tracking system "stupid….fricking….legs"

At this moment, Aria 'quietly' comes through the cafe door. Sneaking up behind Kelly, she yells, "Boo!"

Kelly turns, not looking amused. "I knew that you were there."

Aria laughs anyway, hugging Kelly. "Sure you did. I know you were scared, I'm super scary!" Turning around she beamed at everyone in the cafe. "Hi, guys~ Did I miss anything?"

"Terrifying," Kelly says, rolling her eyes.

"i broke me legs… for like the twentieth time." cruxx stands up and goes to find a soda

Rowena sat down. "What's a portal gun?" She asked curiously
