To Gay or Not to Gay; That is the Question (one on one//closed)

Vin started. "It's just… that well… it's kinda haunting me."

"Haunting?" Vien asked slowly. His mind went to ghosts first of course, though that probably wasn't it

"It's… a metaphor… I'm just thinking about something that won't happen, is all."

"Is it something about this place? We can go, if you want," Vien offered gently. The last thing he wanted to do was keep Vin somewhere that would make him upset

"No, it's okay."

"Are you sure?" Vien asked, concern evident in his eyes

"Yeah." Vin looked at him, which calmed him considerably. "Yeah, I'm okay."

"And you're not just saying this to get me to leave you alone?" Vien asked, trying to make sure that Vin was really okay

Vin nodded and hugged Vien. "I'm saying it because I mean it."

"You're sure?" Vien asked softly, hugging him back as he felt a twinge of mixed relief and concern in his chest

"Mhm…" Vin relaxed into Vien.

"Okay," Vien murmured. He hugged Vin for a moment longer, wanting to make sure he felt better

Vin sighed gently with content and shut his eyes.

Vien pressed a firm kiss to the side of Vin's head before letting him go. He reached for the crackers and cheese again, still feeling hungry

Vin opened his eyes and took some cheese and crackers too.

Vien ate a few more before reaching for his wine glass and taking a sip

Vin took a gulp of his water and resided in not looking at the well anymore.

Vien smiled as pressed a kiss to Vin's cheek

Vin smiled back. "This is really fun. We should do stuff like this more."

"Yeah?" Vien asked, smiling as he spoke

Vin nodded and popped more crackers and cheese into his mouth.

"Maybe we could go do something like go to the movies," Vien suggested. "Or the ocean or something."

"Mmm… the beach. I haven't been there in a while."

"It'd be sort of nice. It's only a short drive from here. We could lay out on the sand, go surfing," Vien suggested

Vin nodded. "I dunno about surfing, but the sand and the warmth sounds great."

"Sand and warmth is good," Vien said, nodding as he smiled. He took a sip of his wine before eating another cracker

Vin nodded and smiled a bit too. He collected some cheese and a cracker.

Vien ate another cracker before finishing his wine. "How about we break out the cheesecake?"

"Yeah, sounds great!"

Vien smiled as he reached into the basket and grabbed the cake and a few plates. He grabbed a knife and two forks before cutting into the cake
