To Gay or Not to Gay; That is the Question (one on one//closed)

"I would love to move to the beach," Vien said with a small smile

Vin looked at Vien. "It'd be great. I bet Baal and Ruby would love it too."

"Oh yeah, Baal loves the water. The only problem is keeping him away from people who might freak out if they see him," Vien chuckled

Vin laughed gently. "Ruby is always scaring people away since Rotties have a bad rep. We're in good hands."

"Yeah, but Ruby's a dog, and Baal is a sparkly dragon. I'm not sure everyone would like a sparkly dragon," Vien pointed out

Vin laughed gently. "Right you are."

Vien nodded. "Maybe we'll have to go to a place with a private beach or something. Just so Ruby and Baal can run around without people freaking out."

Vin nodded as well. "That'd be really nice."

"And we'd be able to have some of the beach to ourselves. We could do anything we wanted," Vien mused

Vin looked off hazily, daydreaming about their beach. "Yeah."

"We should go this week," Vien said suddenly. "I can look at places to stay, and we can go by the end of the week."

Vin looked at him. "It'd be really expensive to move somewhere though. Plus we'd have to hunt for a place and… jobs."

Vien frowned a bit at that. Now that he thought about it, moving by the beach would be expensive. Sure, if they moved to one particular beach a few hours away he'd be closer to many of his friends, but there was the issue of money and jobs. He was always employed because of his contract, but it would be a little difficult for Vin to find a job

Vin rolled his shoulders back and looked away, feeling bad at the slight frown on Vien's face.

"What if we just stayed there for a week? Just to look around and everything?" Vien suggested eventually

"Hmm… okay." Vin nodded.

Vien smiled at that. Now he was excited. What if they did end up moving to the beach together? Sure, it was a big step, but they would be happy. Wouldn't they?

Vin squeezed Vien's hand with a slight smile of his own.

Vien twined their hands together, smiling lovingly at Vin. "I think we're going to have a great time."

"Yeah, I do too." Vin looked at Vien, happy to see a smile on the other's face.

"What do you think we should do first?" Vien asked, his smile widening as he began to think of things for them to do. "We'd have to check in at a hotel or something first. Maybe a resort room. I have a few work perks I could use to get us a nice cabin by the beach."

"That sounds great!" Vin felt a little fuzzy of the warm excitement.

Vien felt himself practically light up at Vin's excitement. "We'd probably get there around dinner time, so maybe we could go to a nice restaurant."

"Wait, we're leaving now?"

"No, no, I mean, when we do leave," Vien explained

Vin chuckled. "Okay, good. Plus, maybe we should go later at night or early in the day because traffic is really bad during that part of the day."

"Yeah, it would probably be best to leave early in the morning. Neither of us want to have to drive in the dark," Vien said with a small chuckle

Vin grunted his agreement. "True that."

"So maybe we should leave earlier in the morning…sometime next week? That way we can prepare and things," Vien suggested

"Yeah, sounds good." Vin smiled wider despite himself.
