"It… helps me relax. Sometimes…" He cast a subtle glance at the dragon, who just grinned at him and tightened its grip even more.
~Torment~ A Roleplay!
"I was trying to study," she admitted, motioning down to her biochemistry book. "Guanine, adenine, thymine…and I always forget the c one. You'd think by now I'd remember all that. Elementary bio stuff. I'm so scatterbrained but also somehow a genius and I…" she noticed the look on his face and immediately the snake-eel coiled around her neck. She shut up.
"Yeah… I-I was trying to read when I… I mean… got distracted, by.. something.." He had almost talked about the demon, and it wasn't happy about it. He was having some difficulty breathing now, and his heart was pounding.
Harlow watched the two, preferring not to talk. Since her own demons were mostly under control, she liked to look for people who might need help controlling theirs.
(Brb in an hour)
"Oh. Sorry, I guess." Dara shrugged, her eyes downcast. "Hope you get un-distracted. Or whatever." The snake-eel's hold tightened. Why was it being so insistent today? She tugged at the collar of her blouse.
"Alright." He responded, then hung up. He exhaled a breath. He was probably going to regret this.
Griffin hung up, skaking is head at himself.
Robin nodded awkwardly, not entirely sure how to continue the conversation. The dragon kept calling him incompetent, making it harder and harder for him to breathe. Robin was just glad it wasn't burning him at the moment. He usually tried his best to avoid possible triggers.
“Sorry for bothering you, but you don’t look so good right now. Do you need something?” Harlow asked, standing up.
"Hmm? I'm… I'm fine." Robin had forgotten that these experiences made him pale and clammy, and lightheaded since the dragon made breathing so difficult. It tightened its grip again at the appearance of a second person, and Robin felt like he was about to pass out.
(So like if my character has demons that she has already conquered she would just have a talisman bracelet with a charm that took the form of the animal her demon looked like?)
Jonathan peeled open one of the curtains hiding the sunlight from his room, and shifted to peer outdoors.
I suppose thats okay)
(I don't know what to do guys! I like the plot but have no idea how to put myself in.)

(Could I join too?)
“If you’re sure,” she said, going back to her phone.
Yeah, go ahead! I'll be sure to give opportunities along the way xD )
Jonathan stood up. His hand travelled against the beige drywall, shoving his feet into his shoes. He never had the motivation to untie and rety them; simply shoving and pulling out his feet was drastically more simple.
Robin nodded weakly and leaned against the table a bit for support, hoping it wasn't too noticeable. He felt as though his chest was tight and he could hardly breathe.
He walked out of the door, out of the cheap apartment complex. He could hear the Indian family that lived below his house yelling about their dog and its particularly loose bowels, and John couldn't help a slight scowl. He never really liked dogs, unfortunately.

Jonathan upturned his walnut eyes to the sky. He hated how far away it was, and he wasn't sure why he always felt like this. The ideal was a strange grudge. But neither participant seemed to want to instigate a conflict, so they passed one another in silence, passive and bitter and static silence. Except thunderstorms— damn thunderstorms. For being almost twenty years old, those things were torrential.

(Is this just set in a modern-day city?)
Yep! )
Becca sat down under a tree, not sure where she was. Oh well. She'd call her grandfather to pick her up later. She let her Black Labrador Midnight lay down on her lap while she silently stroked her soft fur. The tiny blue dragon stared at her from its perch on her knee.

Xander wandered through the park, holding a stack of books in his arms. He sat down on a bench and looked straight ahead. There was a girl sitting underneath the shade of an oak. He thought that she was aesthetically pleasing and opened his sketchbook to draw her, the dog and the tree.
(I assume it's a real dog?)
Jonathan began his aimless tre down the street. Typically he wound along a sidewalk flaking the dog park, and a road stuffed with artisan shops.
Griffin curled up in a ball on the ground, hand trembling as a blue ringed octopus curled its tentacles around him sinisterly, directing his hand towards a knife.
(Yes Midnight(the dog) is real)
(Gtg be back later(supper)))
