Elissa never meant to hurt anyone. But now her name is known to every creature throughout the realm, and she has to run before she becomes the latest in series of "villians" to die, her legacy forever ruined by lies and secrets. One by one, new and strange people are ascending to the throne, killing anyone in their way and getting away with it by changing the facts to their benefit. If no one stops them soon, all of the realms will remain cursed and their inhabitants blind to the truth. Those who sit on a throne are in grave danger, and only the few who know the truth can save them.

So, this is sort of a thing where heroes and villains are reversed, if that makes sense. Of course, that is a major oversimplification, but we can figure that out once people join. I'm thinking of making this a small group thing with four or five people at most, and everyone can have up to two characters if they wish (maybe three, but I change this rule I'll let you know). I'll put my templates up soon, but my characters are going to be Elissa Scarlet (Red Riding Hood/Big Bad Wolf) and Queen Alice of Wonderland (I think that one's obvious enough). So, to summarize, villains are the good guys and the heroes/princesses are the bad guys.

Before we begin, I must go through some rules.

RULES
1. Only two (maybe three) characters per person.
2. No controlling other people's characters. If you want to kill off someone's character, ask permission first. Also no being overpowered or dodging every attack.
3. This RP is going to be dark and possibly a bit violent, so I'd say it's probably PG-16.
4. Romance (including LGBTQ+) is completely allowed, but if things get too steamy please take it to pms.
5. I have the right to ask you for a writing sample or not let you join the RP.
6. Absolutely no being rude or mean out of character. (Also make sure to use parentheses for ooc talking.)
7. andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)'s rules apply.

Okay, now that we have the rules out of the way, time to get to the fun stuff! Your character can be pretty much any magical creature, including fae, human, vampire, etc. Go wild with character design! The only real stipulation I have is that they have to be a fairytale character from something like Grimm's fairytales, Hans Christian Anderson, etc. No Disney stuff, please! (If you're unsure if you can be a specific character, just ask!)

Here's the form:

@PrettyLittlePyro

Name: Elara Jackling
Fairytale character: Jack (and the Beanstalk)
Age: 19
Gender and sexuality: Female, Bisexual
Race (human, fae, etc.): Human
"Villain" or "Hero" (or neither): Neither, really. She'll do anything for anyone if they pay her enough.
Appearance: Elara is pretty, in a dark sort way. She has short brown hair, accented by some lighter highlights. The cut of her hair is kind of messy, with some parts of it longer than others, like she cut it with a blunt knife, but it isn't longer than her shoulders. She has narrow, almond shaped eyes that sparkle with many colors, gold and brown and amber. She always has eye shadow on. Her eyelashes are thick and dark. Her lips are plump, and look like she's always wearing makeup, though she doesn't. She's about 5'4'', and curvy where she needs to be, slender where it looks best. She is pretty muscular, and has strange tattoos all over her arms and hands. She has a cruel, arrogant expression on her face most of the time. She's very good at making herself seem invisible. She wears anything loose and easy to move in, but nothing that makes her stand out.
Personality: Elara is cold and ambitious. She wants what she wants, and if she wants it, she will get it, no matter the cost. She's cunning and sly, and a fantastic actress. She has no real loyalties, and will do anything for the right anount of money, betraying one side for the other in a heartbeat. She's incredibly intelligent, and sly, and can cheat anyone out of anything. She's a good leader, a terrible follower, and fiercly independent. She will never bow to others. She is very sevretive, and will never tell anyone anything, if she can help it. She can sneak into any place and make the people there think she belongs. She's a fantastic liar, and can fool the greatest of mind readers. She is a good pickpocket, and will act innocent as anything if she's caught, which she rarely is. She has a brutal mind, and will kill without batting an eye.
Powers?: Nope. Though you could say her ability to steal and slip into places without being noticed is a power in itself.
Backstory: When Elara was a child, her mother died. Her father took to traveling and adventuring, as he had done when he was a boy, leaving her to live on the streets. She was raised by a local gang, and learned all her tricks there. But when she learned that she was supposed to swear her undying loyalty to the gang, she refused, and ran away. She trained herself in other arts, like killing and thievery, until her fame became great. Her old gang came after her, and she killed them all in twenty minutes, giving her the nickname "the Murderess of Hollow Bridge." She never saw her father again, and she was perfectly fine with that.

I like her! :D

Cool! Is she okay?

Name: Elissa Scarlet
Fairytale character: Little Red Riding Hood/The Big Bad Wolf
Age: 18
Gender and sexuality: Female, pansexual
Race (human, fae, etc.): Werewolf
"Villain" or "Hero" (or neither): "Villain"
Appearance: Elissa has long, curly brown hair so dark that it is usually mistaken for black, with a few strands framing her heart-shaped face. She has olive skin and pale green-gray eyes, which are framed by long lashes. She has a slightly upturned nose and a slightly uneven smile. Her lips are always red, her signature color, and she is known for wearing her brilliantly red cloak (which she no longer has). Elissa always wears long brown boots that are great for fighting or running or whatever. She has a big scar on her shoulder from a werewolf bite. She is just over average height for a girl, standing at 5' 6". She has a slender frame, which can make her look deceptively weak sometimes. Elissa looks quite innocent, actually.
As a werewolf, she looks like a grey wolf that is about twice the regular size. The only thing distinguishing her is her eye color; it's her usual eye color (but her eyes still look like that of a wolf).
Personality: Elissa can be soft-spoken and quiet at first, not because she is shy, but because she doesn't trust anyone. She is whip-smart and extremely sarcastic. She is observant and quick, but can also act a bit dumb sometimes. She seems quite naive, and sometimes is, but she's a fast learner. Elissa is also quite curious.
Powers?: She's a werewolf, as I mentioned earlier. She doesn't transform during the full moon or anything, just when she's nervous. She can get nervous easily, though, so she has learned to control it for the most part. When she's a wolf, she is stronger, faster, and smarter than most wolves, but she only has vague memories of being a wolf until she becomes human again. (Her werewolf thing is a bit like the Hulk, except with being anxious instead of being angry.)
Backstory: When she was twelve years old, Elissa's family was attacked by a werewolf. It killed her mother and sister, but her father managed to kill the wolf before it did any more damage. However, the wolf had bitten Elissa on the shoulder. Her father didn't know what to do, so he moved out of the village and to the forest to live with her grandmother. Elissa's grandmother was a wise old woman and she helped Elissa by making her a red cloak with magical properties. It protected her against attacks as well as helped keep Elissa from transforming into a wolf as long as she wore it. One day, while Elissa was looking for some berries for a recipe that her father was making for dinner, she saw a young man that she didn't know. He was kind and they became friends. She continued to see him, and eventually began to fall for him. However, one day he ripped the cloak off of her body, knowing about her powers. At first Elissa was more shocked than anything, until the boy took out his hatchet (he was woodsman) and began trying to attack her. She had no idea why this was happening and was so frightened and anxious that she transformed. She ended up killing the boy, but when she came home, her grandmother and father were gone. She couldn't find them. That's when things got bad for her. People came looking for her and she was forced to flee with no idea where her family was. (The reason for the boy and the disappearance will be revealed throughout the rp.)

Name: Alice Hearts (adopted name was Alice Liddell)
Fairytale character: Alice
Age: 22
Gender and sexuality: Female, bisexual
Race (human, fae, etc.): Human (linked to a dragon)
"Villain" or "Hero" (or neither): "Hero"
Appearance: Alice is beautiful in an icy sort of way, with skin as pale as snow and hair that is such a light blonde it is platinum. Her hair falls in soft waves down to her waist, and she has pale blue eyes that shine with intelligence. She almost looks like she could disappear, with her pale coloring and delicate frame, but she is stronger than she looks. Alice has a faint smearing of freckles on her face that one can only see up close. Her eyebrows are a shade darker than her pale hair, and her face is oval-shaped. She is 5' 3".
Personality: Alice's personality has many layers, and most of her subjects only know one. Some closer to her may see more of her true self, but Alice doesn't trust anyone completely. She is typically cold and distant on the outside. She is used to people obeying her commands, despite her recent ascension to the throne. She is ruthless and cunning and always thinks before she speaks. She can be rude and has a dry sense of humor. Alice is hotheaded, but tries to keep her emotions under the surface. She is determined and driven as well.
Powers?: She is linked to Wonderland's most famous (and probably only) dragon, known as the Jabberwocky to most of the people there. That means that she can communicate with the dragon and get it to do what she wants (usually).
Backstory: Alice's parents, the Queen and King of Hearts, didn't want to have a child. The Queen of Hearts wanted to rule forever. So the two gave her up for adoption quietly, all the while keeping her a secret from the general public. Alice spent most of her life not knowing the truth until she followed the White Rabbit down the rabbit hole and into Wonderland. Suddenly, everything made a sort of sense. The Queen of Hearts was known as a tyrant and a terrible ruler, so Alice decided that she would make a better queen. She used the Vorpal Sword and the Jabberwocky to defeat the card guards of the palace and to cause an uprising so that she could take the throne. She killed the Queen of Hearts and imprisoned the King of Hearts, taking her place as Wonderland's new ruler. She could only get the Vorpal Sword through the magic treacle well, which is deep within Wonderland and guarded by the three sisters, who she owed the Queen's head. Debt payed, Alice now sits on the Wonderland throne, ready to do whatever it takes to keep her power and keep her subjects from an uprising. She is trying to get rid of any threat and anyone who knows the truth, though she doesn't seem to be doing anything to stop Wonderland's curse: to drive its inhabitants slowly mad.

Name: Oliver Haste

Fairytale character: Pinocchio (The “Not So Family Friendly” Version)

Age: 20

Gender and sexuality: Male, Asexual

Race (human, fae, etc.): Human (connected with wooden puppet)

”Villain" or "Hero" (or neither): Arguable, so neither… I think

Appearance: Oliver stands at 5’11” (178 cm) with a slim body and an inverted triangle face shape. He has a pale, almost unhealthily white skin tone. He has a pair of brown eyes to go with his wavy and long coal black hair which covers parts of his eyes. As he is quite thin, he doesn’t come out as extremely threatening even if both his personality and powers say otherwise. He has a tattoo on the back of his neck, one of a wooden flower.

Personality: Oliver is quite hot-headed and aggressive to the bone. He’s not an asshole by birth, he just acts violently towards a lot of people as a way to protect himself from potential dangers. By him acting violently, though, did he find peace in his soul. He found that by pushing toxic people out of his life, whether it be in a peaceful way or not, it made him feel better.

Powers?: Oliver has the ability to summon strings from the tips of his fingers, controlling them like they’re parts of his body. These strings are extremely flexible and are extremely hard to cut as they’re not your typical string and is even harder than human bones. These strings have two main purposes; attacking people or controlling them like a puppet. The former would be self explanatory but the latter would need some explanation as to how it works.
Oliver is able to wrap these strings around people’s bodies. However, if he can wrap these strings around five parts (the neck, the two wrists, and the two ankles) of the target’s body, he can control them like a puppet for approximately a minute and a half before the strings would loosen and return to him. But he’s not insanely strong when it comes to controlling his own powers.

Backstory: Oliver wasn’t a fan of socializing when he was a child for every interaction he had with someone else often resulted in them leaving him one way or another. He believed himself to be a cursed child. Ever since he was a child, everyone seemed to say that as well whether it be with those exact words or paraphrased versions. They meant the same to him; he wasn’t welcome and will never be. His parents left him when he was two and never returned. The only person he had by his side was an old man who was a clockmaker named Geppetto. That man was kind and accepted Oliver the way he was.
However — there was no way he was going to forget that day — when he was fourteen, he was buying some groceries to bring back to the clockmaker. When he came back, he wondered what was with the people gathered in his house. They were guests, he thought.
Opening the door, he was shocked to find Geppetto stabbed through the heart, dead with no remaining pulse. The group of three bandits looked at Oliver with eyes of both confusion and surprise. Whatever, one of them got out a knife to initially attack the child…

Within the blink of an eye, strings tied the three bandits’ necks to the ceiling, ultimately hanging them and killing them effortlessly. The fourteen-year-old couldn’t do much but pay his respects to the old man. Again, someone left him. But now for reasons he understood but couldn’t accept. He left the house and went his way which led up to present times.

@MusicElle-is-here

Ooh cool! I like him! :D

@ElderGod-Icefire

Hey could i do like…a twisted version of Peter Pan? Not the Disney version, the original J M Barrie version

Totally! Go right ahead!
