You’re welcome!

@ElderGod-Icefire

Question: there's magic in this world, right? So Peter will be able to fly still, right?

@MusicElle-is-here

Yes there is magic, so yes he can fly! :)

@ElderGod-Icefire

Perfect!

@ElderGod-Icefire

Name: Peter James Pan
Fairytale character: Peter Pan (original JM Barrie version) (sort of)
Age: 19
Gender and sexuality: Male, bi
Race (human, fae, etc.): Unknown. Appears to be human, but carries traits of both Fae and fairies
"Villain" or "Hero" (or neither): Unknown
Appearance: Peter. Peter is tall, with curly, wild brown hair. His eyes are a brilliant orange gold color, that glint when they catch the light. He is Caucasian, with a bit of a tan. On his right arm is a sleeve tattoo that was given to him by the natives of Neverland. He has piercings lining both ears. His body has a number of scars on it from various fights and conflicts.
Personality: Peter can be a bit capricious, and changeable. Even once he's set his mind on something, he'll still change his mind if something better appears. He can be vicious, and rude, and easily angered, but can also be the sweetest person ever, smiling and gentle and so kind. Typically, this changes depending on who he's dealing with. With the Lost Boys, he can be both tyrant and playmate and best friend all rolled into one. With his father, he's a hellion spawned from the deepest, darkest pits of hell. With the native tribe, he changes depending on who he's dealing with. He's very intelligent, even if he hasn't really had much schooling. He can neither read nor write, despite attempts to teach himself to.
Powers?: Flight. Speaking to Faeries and understanding them.
Backstory: His father is James Hook, the pirate, and they are often found fighting. Peter ran away when he was young, amassing a group that is known as the "Lost Boys". He can often be found running wild in Neverland with this group of loyal comrades, or taunting his father. James Hook was abusive to Peter when the young man was a boy, which was what prompted him to run away in the first place. Peter decided he never wanted to be associated with Captain Hook again, changing his last name to "Pan", rather than the "Hook" he was born with. While he himself was never taught to read, some of the Lost Boys can, and he relies on them to help him in situations where reading is needed. His father often sends him letters, which he doesn't let the others see, putting them away. The letters are a taunt, since Captain Hook knows his son cannot even read them, much less write a response. On the days when a new letter arrives, Peter can be even more vicious than normal, lashing out at anyone near him. His most loyal companion is Tinkerbell, a fairy.

(Is he alright?)

@MusicElle-is-here

Yes, he’s perfect! :)

@ElderGod-Icefire

Yay!

@MusicElle-is-here

So I think everyone’s characters are ready! I’ll wait to start until later tonight/possibly early tomorrow just in case we have a last minute person join or any of y’all want to make another character. Sound good? :)

@MusicElle-is-here

(Okay, I'm to post a starter because I'm bored and now seems as good a time as any, I suppose lol. If any of y'all want to make a second character during the rp it's totally fine, and if someone wants to join before we get too far that's probably okay too. Lol anyway the starter will be up soon!)

Elissa took a deep breath as she entered the crowded marketplace, trying to look casual. Despite her status of basically being basically public enemy number one (okay, probably more like number six, but that was still bad), most people would not recognize her on sight. Her general description might be known to those more in touch, or even a (let's face it, completely inaccurate) portrait of her.
Her dark hair was half up in a messy French braid, with the other half falling around loosely down her back. She wore none of her signature red besides her lips, because she wasn't stupid enough to go flouncing around in something that obvious. Despite her nervousness, Elissa did her best to blend in with everyone else, trying to remember what her grandmother had taught her. She smiled brightly when she made eye contact with a random woman nearby, only realizing how suspicious that was when the woman narrowed her eyes and whispered to her neighbor. Elissa's heart pounded, but she forced herself to take a deep breath. She would not transform here.
She walked in the opposite direction of the woman, as if that was where she had intended to go all along, pretending she knew the place well. She wasn't even certain what kingdom she was currently in, if she was being completely honest. At any moment, someone could recognize her, but putting up her boring brown cloak might be even more suspicious than not. She could feel a panic attack coming on, so Elissa ducked into what seemed to be an abandoned alley and leaned against the wall, breathing in and out slowly.

@ElderGod-Icefire

(How should I introduce Peter? Because normally I'd picture him as being located in Neverland, but like…none of the other characters would be there, so…)

@MusicElle-is-here

(maybe you could have him on some sort of mission? or he could be looking for someone?)

@ElderGod-Icefire

(Hmm maybe so!)

@MusicElle-is-here

(or if you don’t like those ideas, maybe something happened/is happening to Neverland and in order to stop it Peter has to find someone or some magical item that can fix things?)

Oliver was doing some shopping. Truth be told, he was dressed quite out of the norm. Wearing a torn cloak that was bigger than his size, a pair of cruelly ripped and ragged pants, a stained cloth to cover his face. He had the hooded part of his cloak over his head, covering parts of his head.
He eyed practically everyone who turned to him, giving them the ‘I’ll kill you’ look. Fair enough.
He decided that if this went on people would’ve questioned him so he stopped. Getting what he needed, he left as soon as possible.
He heard a scream from a female, uttering the words “Thief! Thief!”.
He gave a confused look before he turned to see a man dressed “interestingly” leave the place with a lot of items that did not look like they belonged to him.
Out of instinct, Oliver raised one of his hands and aimed at the man, wrapping his ankles with the strings and making him fall and allowing the officials to deal with him.

@MusicElle-is-here

(i probably should have mentioned this earlier but the world that the story takes place in is more similar to the middle ages in like dress and technology for the most part, so there wouldn’t be jeans or hoodies. sorry!)

@PrettyLittlePyro

Elara leaned against the wall of a nearby alley, watching the going-ons with narrowed, amused eyes. The new person, with the weird string power, now he was interesting. Her lips curled into the familiar cold smirk, that everyone knew meant trouble.

She had ruled this town and run the crime groups for almost two years now, ever since she had murdered her old gang. The Murderess, as she was called, wasn't cruel, exactly, but her moods were very unpredictable, and it was better to stear clear of her, or at least do what she wanted, without a squabble. She was dangerous, there was no doubt about that. To anyone.

She stepped from the shadows of the building, crossing her arms and regarding the puppet man with some interest. The thief had been a sloppy one, that was true, but he… he was interesting.

(Gimme a moment to change XD)

@MusicElle-is-here

(hahah thanks! :D)

Elissa had finally calmed herself down somewhat when she heard the commotion. She straightened her clothing and brushed off a bit of dirt on her shoulder before walking out of the alley slowly to see what the matter was. The man who had stolen something was being apprehended by a boy with some sort of string power. Elissa’s eyes widened. Such a blatant display of power in public? Things must truly be different here than, well, in the middle of the forest. Perhaps she just wasn’t used to city life.

@ElderGod-Icefire

(ahh sorry!! I had to go to bed lmao)

Peter had come to the mainland to pick up some supplies for the Lost Boys. He was dressed simply, trying not to attract any attention, and walked instead of flew. Tinkerbell was perched on his shoulder, hidden under the cloak. He had promised her that they would pick up some fabric samples that she could make herself clothing out of, since she was growing tired of the same old dress. She said something in that bell-like voice that all the fairies had, and he murmured back, "Shh. Fairies aren't as common here, Tink, they'd probably try to kidnap you. I promise that I won't forget about the fabric, but I also promised Slightly that I'd grab him some newspapers." to his shame and embarrassment, Peter remained unable to read, but Slightly, his second-in-command and good friend, could read. Or at least, could read enough. His attention was caught by a man using strange powers, and he cocked his head, coming a bit closer. If one looked closely enough at Peter, they might notice that his way of walking was a bit strange, his feet remaining off the ground for just a moment too long.

@MusicElle-is-here

(it's all good my dude)

Elissa fidgeted slightly, uncomfortable in the crowd, but still intrigued by the strange man. A crowd did seem to be forming around the man and the thief, much to Elissa's anxiety. It appeared she was not the only one interesting by the display.

@PrettyLittlePyro

Elara noticed another young woman watching the strange man. This woman was yet another stranger, and she raised an eyebrow. There were a lot more strangers around than before, and she was curious. What was happening? The woman had black hair and green eyes, an unusual combination.

She strode over to the young woman, whose hair turned out to be brown, not black, she noticed. The girl seemed wary and anxious.

Elara leaned on the wall beside the woman. "So, the weird puppet guy caught your interest, too?" She crossed her arms and stared at the woman through haughty, amused eyes. The dagger in her belt was just begging to be stolen, so Elara watched for the right opportunity.

@MusicElle-is-here

Elissa’s gaze darted to the young woman in front of her, her heart in her throat. Had she been found out? No, she had to be calm. For a moment she could almost feel her fingernails becoming claws, but with what she hoped was a discreet glance, she confirmed that they looked normal.

It took a moment for Elissa’s brain to catch up to what the girl said. “It’s quite a talent that he has, isn’t it?” she remarked blandly, studying the young woman. “He’s gathering quite a crowd.”

@ElderGod-Icefire

Peter let out a faint hum, glancing around the crowd. His gaze landed on two young women, one of whom seemed vaguely familiar. Perhaps he had seen her here before? That would explain it. He looked over at the man again, running a hand through his dark hair. He needed to get back soon. The letters his father sent him were tucked in his bag. He kept them with him whenever he left the Lost Boys; the Twins had a bad habit of going through everyone's things, and he didn't want anyone else seeing these letters and finding out his connection to Hook.

Oliver did notice a few eyes on him. Though he decided to not pay attention. He just went with the fact that he couldn’t care less if people knew about him or not.
After the officials got the thief, he retracted the strings back to his fingertips and left, sighing softly as he traced down the pathway. He wasn’t going to be introducing himself to anyone any time soon so might as well go somewhere else. If people could just ignore him… that was.
”Excuse me sir, would you like something in return to the deed you’ve done?” one of the merchants asked, wanting to return something to the man.
Oliver stared blankly at the man, shaking his head slightly and continued moving.
”Good sir, we would just like to tha—“
”Shut up…”
”Eh…?”
”I said—“ strings came out of his fingertips and tied tightly around the man’s neck ”—SHUT UP!” with the force of the strings, Oliver was able to break the man’s neck and sent him to an unconscious state.
He backed up slightly, turning and running away from the scene. Hopefully no one saw him.

@PrettyLittlePyro

"I agree. You know, I bet that he isn't as good at gathering a crowd as I am." Elara smiled at the girl, but it was a cold, dangerous smile, full of menace and promise… like a wolf. This girl clearly didn't know who she was, and that was okay. She would learn soon enough.

"Tell me, what brings a newby like you to my town?" Elara asked in an amused, coldly polite tone, eyeing the girl's dagger. Maybe she would steal it.

@MusicElle-is-here

Elissa swallowed, a shiver going down her spine at the coldness in the woman’s expression. It was all she could do to stay in human form, becoming increasingly panicked. “Y-your town?” she squeaked. “What is that supposed—“ She stopped talking as she noticed the man from earlier running. “Where’s he going?” She said this more in an effort to get the girl’s gaze—and focus—off of herself than for any real reason.

@PrettyLittlePyro

Elara rolled her eyes. "Who knows." She noticed several of her lackies in the crowd and jerked her head at the running figure, the puppet guy, motioning for them to follow him. "People always do weird things when they're on the run."

The words were specifically targeted at the woman she was talking to. From the way the woman acted and spoke, Elara was pretty sure that she was on the run. Not that she would tell anyone. If it didn't get her profit, Elara didn't give a damn about what other people did.

Hand streaking out in a blur, she lifted the knife from the woman's belt with barely more than a whisper of metal and slid it into her jacket. There. Now she had another pretty knife.

@MusicElle-is-here

“I’m certain that they do,” Elissa responded, growing increasingly uncomfortable. She had to think of a way out of this without drawing even more attention to herself. She hoped that her darting gaze wasn’t the obvious admission of guilt her sinking stomach told her it was. “It was wonderful talking to you, miss, but I really must be on my way.” She flashed a brief, uneasy smile at the woman, glancing over her shoulder. Please, please, please let this work as a goodbye, she begged internally. Please let her not have recognized me.

@PrettyLittlePyro

Elara chuckled at the woman's uncomfortable attitude and straightened. "It wasn't nice meeting me, but you can say whatever you want. Trust me, my feelings aren't easily hurt." She sauntered off.

The strange man with the strings that came out of his fingers seemed to be the most interesting, and so that was who she followed, at a slow, easy pace. One of her lackies ran to her.

"He… he knocked out one of the merchants. With his hands alone!" Then the man seemed to remember who he was speaking to. "Murderess, forgive me. I didn't mean to imply that your skill is inferior - "

Elara held up a hand, and the man stopped. "I don't care for your stupid prattling," she snapped. "Which way did he go?"
