Milo stood up from his table, strolled over to the counter to order.

Sofia walked to the back of the line, waiting to order.

Alex immediately changed her mind. "Wait, I want a Jelly donut and a colatta!" She called out and ran over to her friend.

"Can I have.." He thought for a moment. "An iced latte?" They went to make his order, so he looked around. Is that the other school? Weirdos.

Sofia shifted from foot to foot, her hands in her pockets, waiting.

He picked up his order and headed back to his table. "The other school's here. Today's weather is pathetic with a chance of idiots."

Cherith smirked at Alex. "Ok, I got it." She walked up to the counter and ordered. "Hey, i'll have an iced latte, a jelly donut, and a colatta please." She said.

Sofia quickly ordered a drink and walked back to her table, picking up her book to read again.

He noticed the table was unnaturally quiet. Trying to break the silence, he said, "Hey, guys. Did you know that 'why did the chicken cross the road' can be a suicide joke?" He cringed at his own words. Just talk already!

Sofia shifted in her seat uncomfortably, leaning her head back.

None of them spoke. What is wrong with you today?
