Mikhail nodded and quickly got up and went into the kitchen to get water. He walked back to Adrien and handed him the glass of water, still feeling a bit guilty since he couldn't do anything.

"Thanks." Adrien gave Mikhail a weak smile. He took tiny sips of the water, occasionally taking rattling breaths that shook his weak frame. He pulled Mikhail down to him, kissing the angel on the cheek. "You're the best."

Mikhail smiled slightly. "You're welcome." He squeaked in surprise when he was pulled down and blushed furiously. "Oh-I-um-thanks."
Adrien laughed, a sound which quickly change into coughs that scratched his throat. So it was going to be one of those days. "It's no problem."
Mikhail nodded and quickly became worried when Adrien started coughing again. He wasn't sure if he could heal his heart or anything like that.
"Hey, don't worry I'm fine. This happens…" Adrien paused to cough again, taking a few sips of water. "This happens all the time. Can you hold me?" He liked being held. It made him feel…safe. Secure. Cared for. It was nice.
"I know but still….." Mikhail muttered. He quickly glanced at Adrien when he asked a question and he hugged him tightly, but not too tight.
Adrien smiled gently. "It's fine," he cooed, gasping at the pressure on his chest. It hurt, but he wasn;t willing to let Mikhail go. "I'm fine, Baby."
Mikhail chuckled and kissed his cheek. "Okay then," He mumbled.
Adrien let out a sigh of contentment. "So, can I meet your friend? Is he cool with me coming over?"
(Oh yeah, I'm volunteering so I won't be on for a few hours. Bye for now :(

Mikhail nodded. "Yep, he's okay with you coming over," He answered, a small smile on his face.

"Yay," Adrien cheered, voice soft and weary. "Tell me about him. What's he like?"

Mikhail chuckled and kissed his forehead. "Well, what do you want to know about him?"
Adrien shrugged as best he could. "Anything." He realized that wasn't the best answer. "Sorry, I just don't really know what I want to know."
Mikhail smiled slightly. "It's fine. Let's see, he's cold to people he doesn't know, and over protective of the ones he does know. He's an orphan, and he's ambidextrous??" He replied, making the last part sound more like a question.
Adrien smiled. "Does he tell good jokes? I need a friend who can tell jokes."
Mikhail chuckled. "Not really? I'm not sure," He answered.
"kay. How long have you known him?" Adrien asked, kissing Mikhail on the cheek again. Kissing Mikhail was nice. He kind of wanted to make out with him forever and never ever stop.
"For a very long time. I think I met him when I started living on the streets, not sure," Mikhail answered. He blushing slightly and returned the kiss.
Adrien pulled away. "Streets? Are you okay, Baby?"
Mikhail glanced at him and tilted his head slightly to the right in confusion. "Yea, I'm okay. Why did you ask?"
Adrien shrugged. "Living on the street is hard, Baby. I want you to be okay. And you are. So it's fine. Tell me more about your friend. What's his favorite color?"
"Umm, Teal, black, or purple," Mikhail answered after a moment, kinda ignoring what Adrien said before the question.
Adrien nodded. "Not as good as baby blue, but I'll let it pass. What does he look like? Is he cute? Does he dye his hair? Do y'all have a secret hair dying club?"
"Only me, Max, and Kelton dye our hair," Mikhail answered. "And Leon has black hair, purple eyes, pale skin, and freckles," He replied.
Adrien nodded. "Secret three-person hair dye club. Wonderful. What are we going over?"
"It's not a club!" Mikhail said, blushing slightly. "And we're going whenever you're free," He answered.
"Sure you're not, Baby. I'm free tomorrow if that's good." Adrien wriggled around a little until he could wrap his arms around Mikhail's waist.
Mikhail blushed slightly and pecked Adrien's forehead. "Okay then, sounds good."
