Adrien blushed, shyly pulling away a few minutes later. "Oh, uh, wow. You're- you're really really good at that," he stuttered, brushing a stray lock of hair out of his face. He started the car and began driving.

Mikhail blushed at what Adrien said. "Oh-I-um-thank you???" He replied, making it sound more like a question.

Adrien chuckled. "Uh, you're welcome?" He pulled around the corner and- BOOM!!- there was the restaurant, Little Gino's Eatery.

(srry about that, I've had a terrible headache the whole day)

Mikhail glanced at the restaurant in awe. "So, is this why you asked me about Italian food?" He asked, a small smile on his face.

(Nah, It's fine. Take care of yourself, Dude)

Adrien nodded, pulling Mikhail inside. "Yeah, It's amazing! I can't eat half the food, but all the vegetarian stuff is delicious. Hi, Angie!" He called, speaking to a young, red-haired waitress waiting near the front of the store.

"Hi, Adrien! Your date is cute!" Angie called back, handing him a couple menus and walking them over to an empty table for 2.

"Aww, thanks!" Adrien blushed, pulling a chair out for Mikhail to sit in and then plopping down into his own seat.

(I'm a woman……….lol. Even though I'm rping as a dude, DO NOT QUESTION ME)

Mikhail kept following Adrien, blushing slightly at the compliment. He thanked Adrien as he sat down in his own seat.

(Oh, I use dude as a gender-neutral term, but if you'd prefer it I can use gurl.)

"What'll y'all be having today?" Angie asked, pulling out a small notebook.

"I'll have that spinach lasagna. The one without the meat." Adrien said, not even bothering to look at the menu. He'd ben here long enough to know what he liked.

(no, it's fine, I was kidding. I'm just bored, and I become when I'm bored…….so ye)

"I'll just have ravioli," Mikhail answered after he had glanced over the menu for a few minutes.

Angie nodded, taking up their menus with a smile. "I'll have those right out. Y'all have fun now." She walked away with a spring in her step, sticking the pen behind her ear.

"So, What do people normally do at dates?" Adrien asked, nerves catching up to him. "I'm kind of super new to this, so I'm flying blind."

"Actually, same here," Mikhail admitted after Angie had left. "So, I guess we're both flying blind."

Adrien laughed. 'Good to know I have nothing to beat." He ran a hand through his hair. "Tell me about yourself, I guess. That's a normal couple thing, right?"

Mikhail laughed and moved some of his hair out of his face. "I guess so. So, what do you want to know about me?" He asked.

Adrien thought for a little while. Maybe his past? No, he'd have to explain how he got his scars. And fell from heaven. And became a fallen angel. Maybe family? no, then if anyone got hurt he remembers them and get sad. "What's your favorite animal?"

"Ummmmmmm, probably cats," Mikhail answered, resting his head in his hand. "What about you?" He asked.

"Penguins. What's your favorite band?" Adrien thought these questions were a little kitschy, but he liked them. They were easy. Uncomplicated. Untethered from bad memories and past pain.

"Panic! At The Disco, but sadly it's not a band anymore," Mikhail answered. He was glad Adrien hadn't asked anything about the scars on his wings or his family.

"Ooh, good choice! I really like smaller bands. Shakey Graves, Icon for Hire, all that stuff. They're kind of dark, but I like them" Adrien tried to come up with another question but came up blank. "What do you want to know about me?"

"When did something start out badly for you but in the end, it was great?" Mikhail asked, a small smile on his face.

Adrien thought pretty ard. "Wel, vegetarianism I guess. When I got forced onto the diet I fucking hated it, but now I'm healthier than ever and I don't go to the hospital every week." He sounded so cynical that he immediately added. "Sorry! That got way too deep!"

Mikhail chuckled. "It's fine. And that's cool," He replied. He stopped resting his head in his hand because his hand had gone numb

(Does that only happen to me?)

(I do that too.)

Adrien grinned. "I asked you two questions, so you have to ask me two. You still have one to go, Honey." He grabbed Mikhail's hand under the table with a smile. He hoped Mikhail was okay with pet names.

Mikhail squeaked in surprise when Adrien grabbed his hand under the table and he quickly hid his blush with his free hand. "Fine, What fictional place would you most like to go?" He asked.

Adrien smiled at that absolutely adorable squeal before thinking about the question. "Probably Hogwarts, honestly. I'd make one killer wizard." Plus, he added internally, I could get my dumbass heart healed with magic.

"I can try to heal it, fallen angels can heal people for some reason," Mikhail suggested. He had been wanting to tell Adrien about that and was glad he finally got the chance to.

Adrien was shocked. "Uh, can you? I've seen some pretty powerful healers before, and they couldn't do, uh, anything." Just as he finished, Angie walked in and delivered their meals, sashaying off with a smirk on her face. Adrien dug in, waiting nervously for Mihail's response.

"I'll try my best," Mikhail replied, thanking Angie when she delivered their meals. He also dug in, hoping he could heal Adrien's heart.

Adrien smiled. "Thanks. I'm just not sure how I'd go through life without my illness. It's just…It's been part of me for so long, y'know?"

"It's fine, I understand." Mikhail smiled back.
