vanesssa was hidden from the world or thats what she convinced herself.
Brink sighed, not being able to find Vanessa and sat at a back table"some trouble would be fun…" He muttered, taking out a knife he had hidden away and twirling it in his hand
Vanessa saw brink walking past him she took the knife as she walked away.
He pulled out another knife and grinned "you know me better than to hold just one weapon on me, kitty." He called after her
she turned around and got in his face "and you know me better than to question me about the undying love I have for you" she said in a hurt tone.
He tilted his head slightly and watched her in slight surprise "you asked why I question you? Because every time that vine conjuring, tree hugging bitch comes along, you defend him, and you play right into his hands. I don’t question your love Ness, all I want to know is why? After all he's done to you, why do you still play into his games?"
"Because brink I may be a villian but im also a hero" she said.
He snorted a laugh "and who would he need saving from?"
"a hero doesnt just save Brink".
"Oh really? so tell me what they do kitty, cuz right now that's the only thing I think they do." he felt one of his mood swings coming on and tried to control his breathing
"hero's protect brink and im trying my hardest to be the best person i can the best mother i can the best wife i can but i can't" she said.
He lowered his voice "and who says your not doing all of that, hm? Who says your not being the best person you can be? The best mother, the best wife?"
"Me brink because imnot".
He shook his head and grinned "that doesn't count kitty, it has to be someone else."
she closed her eyes "my mother".
He pulled her into his lap holding her tight "and how the hell would she know on how yourself Jester? She hasn't even seen the child yet."
she barried her head in his chest.
He glanced down and kissed her temple "all I'm saying is that she doesn't have the right to judge. You weren't raised perfectly but you came out fantastic, and so will Jester. Any flaws he has, come from me, not you."
"Thats not true".
He laughed lightly "which party my cat?"
"hestera flaws come from me" she said.
He sighed "if the next child comes out a cat then yes that's all on you, Jester's fine, save a little too smart for his age but, meh, it's fine."
she sighed leaning her head on his.
"I still don't understand what Samuel has to do with any of this." He said, brushing his lips against her nose
he's just a slight obstacle.".
" he's also a slight pain in my ass," he grumbled " obsticals can be taken care of easily…" He mused, glancing at the knife in his hand
