It had been a few days, and the other spellcasters had gone home. Hatta approached Glade to ask about the sword.
Aliana stayed silent nearby. She figured, she figured it would be best if Hatta approached this with Glade alone? She didn't want to leave him alone, but she wasn't going to force herself into the conversation.
Hatta got Glade's attention, and the two started to speak about the sword, Glade trying to explain the history behind it as best as they could.
Aliana listened to the conversation though she tried to appear as if she wasn't. Something she had mastered a long time ago.
Hatta listened quietly as Glade told him the history behind the blade, explaining why it had been made.
Aliana bit her lip as she continued to listen silently.
Hatta nodded a little as he listened.
She let out a quiet hum as she listened in.
The two continued to speak.
She kept listening to the conversation.
When asked where the sword was, Glade let out a breath. "I'm not entirely certain."
Aliana perked up at that. That answer was worrisome.
Hatta frowned. "What do you mean?"
Aliana bit her lip swearing to herself that she wouldn't enter the conversation.
Glade sighed. "I don't know where it is. I'm sorry. It's not…easily traced."
Aliana tried not to let out a huff of frustration.
"Why not?" Hatta asked.
"I designed it that way." Blade explained.
Aliana eventually caved, "Why would you design it like that?"
"Because it was safer. The Vorpal sword is not something that should fall into just anyone's hands."
"I know that, but still."
"It's safer this way, trust me."
"Okay," Aliana finally admitted.

Glade ran a hand through their hair. "Now I have to figure out how to locate it."
"Couldn't you do the location spell? Or does that not work."
"It doesn't work, that's the point." Glade responded.
"I, that makes sense," Aliana let out a sigh.
