We're All a Little Mad // OxO // Closed

(A repost of a deleted RP)

I want to do like…a Wonderland themed RP. My character will be the Mad Hatter/Mad Hatter's son, something like that. Plot: Wonderland is falling apart at the edges. The Jabberwocky is back, and no one seems to be able to stop it. The clues all seem to point in one direction. The Hatter. Your character is sent to speak with the Hatter, and they set out to find and stop the Jabberwocky together. The problem is that the closer they get to the Jabberwock, the worse Hatter's madness grows. He is going insane, he is going mad, like every other member of his family, and there doesn't seem to be a way to stop it. The characters are falling in love, too, which makes Hatter's issues even harder on both characters as Hatter's mind begins to crack and break apart. Is there a way to fix Hatter, and stop the Jabberwock? I would like this to be gay.

Rules:

• This will get pretty dark at times, along with cussing
• Steamy scenes will be taken to PMs

• This will be angsty and dark. This is not going to be an exact version of Carrol's wonderland, this is more of my own version, in a way? Hard to explain. But don't expect it to be the same as in Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass

Looks: Long wavy golden locks, deep blue eyes, olive skin, stands at around 5' normally, wears a strapless short pink dress with a flowy bottom and a heart-shaped neckline, off the shoulder sleeves that match the dress, but aren't attached, and a golden heart-shaped locket

Well…I had been meaning for this to be gay, and Hatter is a dude, so…I mean I'm willing to make it straight tho, I don't want to make you change your character unless you want to. But other than that, I do like her and she would probably work

Looks: Red hair that already has streaks of white in it. Eyes that are a bright purple and almost always seem to be flared wide, giving him a rather crazy look. He is tall, and thin, though well-muscled. Has a crooked, rather manic smile. Wears bright, colorful clothing, and always, always a hat.

Hatta hummed as he went around his shop, adjusting hats and muttering under his breath. "Why is a raven like a writing desk?" He laughed to himself. "Because both have quills dipped in ink." He shook his head, laughing and laughing and laughing, then suddenly stopping and consulting his pocket watch. He hummed again.

Aliana had a small backpack on as she trekked through the forest. She had come quite some way to find the Hatter. She still hadn't figured out why she had been sent to find the Hatter, but she knew they needed to stop the thing that was coming. The Jabberwocky? She hugged herself as she stepped through to find his shop. She was here finally. Aliana took a deep breath before calling out, "Um hello? Mr. Hatter sir?"

Hatta looked up. "It's Quinn!" He exclaimed. "Last name is Quinn, first name Hatta, hatter's the profession." He grinned, eyes flaring wide and crazy. "Whaddya need? I've got…hats, hats, and more hats!" He spread his arms.

"Oh, sorry Mr. Quinn. My name's Aliana Goldsmith" Aliana said giving him a slight curtsey. She took a quick glance around the shop before turning her attention back to Hatta, "I'm not actually here to buy a hat. I was sent to find you because the Jabberocky's back and, um, you seem to be the solution to stop it."

Hatta blinked quickly, body going still as he stared at her. "Jabberwocky?" He replied, cocking his head. "No, you need a hat first so I can take you seriously." He smirked, and looked around. "No, no, no, and no." He pursed his lips.

Aliana let out a slight sigh as he went around looking at the hats. She didn't understand why she needed a hat, but the one thing Ali had been told over and over again was to not question the Hatter's actions. She continued to hold herself as she watched Hatta find her a hat.

Hatta finally grabbed a pretty one that would fit her perfectly, and held it out. "Perfect." He said. He himself was wearing a top hat that was a beautiful color. He was wearing a tailed overcoat that was a deep plum, and a waistcoat of mint green, paired with a bow tie of dark maroon. He was a riot of color. "Put it on, then talk."

Aliana took the hat from Hatta and placed it on her head. She did think the rosy pink color worked well, she was just a little pink princess, wasn't she? She took a breath and said her statement again, "My name is Aliana. I was sent here to, um," Ali adjust the hat that was just slightly too big for her head, "ask you for help with the Jabberwocky. It seems to be returning and the only person we think can help is you Mr. Quinn."

"Call me Hatta." He replied, waving a hand and walking to the rear of the shop. He threw open a curtain, and revealed a bookshelf. His slim fingers skimmed along the book spines, and he pulled out a small, thin book. He flipped through it quickly, back turned to her. "Hmm…"

"Okay then," Aliana muttered to herself and she watched him. She waited as he went and went behind the curtain to grab a book. After a few moments, she took a step towards where he was, "So, can you help?"

Hatta snapped at her. "Shh!" He hummed again. He paused in the book. "Ah! A Vorpal Sword! That's what you need!" He exclaimed. "And lucky for you, I know how to find one. Not where, but how." He grinned crazily.

Aliana looked at him with wide eyes her mouth slightly agape. She stammered slightly as she tried to form a response, "I-I'm just the messenger! I don't think I could find whatever you're talking about. I would need help. Oh, you're probably going to help, right?"

Hatta blinked once. "Not a messenger. No such thing. Tea?" He said, all in one breath. He groaned, putting a hand to his head. "Time time time I'm running out of time!" He mumbled to himself, then straightened, looking at her.
