Hatta sighed softly, and raised an eyebrow when he heard the paper tear, looking up at her. "Aliana? What's wrong?" he asked, studying her.

@ShadeStar

Aliana had crumpled the paper into a ball. She took a shakey breath, “Nothing’s wrong. I just messed up that’s all.”

@ElderGod-Icefire

Hatta blinked slowly. "Oh. Alright." He said softly.

@ShadeStar

Aliana took a breath, "Yeah."

She started to draw again only to start the same pattern and ripped it out before she could finish with a shaky and defeated sigh.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Hatta watched her for a long moment. "You alright?"

@ShadeStar

"I, no," Aliana admitted quietly. She put her pen down and let herself sit there and shake.

@ElderGod-Icefire

He frowned slightly, and moved closer. "Okay…what's wrong?"

@ShadeStar

"All I can draw are monsters," Aliana whispered glancing at her crumpled papers, "I, I don't know where they're coming from anyway."

@ElderGod-Icefire

Hatta frowned a little bit. "Could they be whatever that presence was that you felt?"

@ShadeStar

"I, I think so," Aliana muttered taking a breath and looking at him, "Why can't they just leave me alone?"

@ElderGod-Icefire

"I don't know." Hatta replied softly.

@ShadeStar

Aliana let out a breath once more and closed her sketchbook, "Guess I'm not drawing tonight."

@ElderGod-Icefire

Hatta frowned. "Do you want a book to read?"

@ShadeStar

"Do,do you have a spare book?" Aliana asked softly looking to Hatta.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Hatta nodded, and reached into his hat. "I have many spare books." he replied with a smile.

@ShadeStar

Aliana gave him a little smile back, "Then I would love a book."

@ElderGod-Icefire

He nodded, and pulled out five, holding them out. "Pick one." he said.

@ShadeStar

Aliana looked at the five books and picked one out holding it close afterwards, "Thank you."

@ElderGod-Icefire

Hatta nodded, and put the others away. "You're welcome."

@ShadeStar

Aliana gave him another smile before settling down to read hoping that would take her mind away from what happened.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Hatta got out his own book, and started reading.

@ShadeStar

Aliana sat down and read the book losing herself in the pages.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Hatta started reading as well.

@ShadeStar

The time passed quickly and the maze started to get dark and cold to the point where Aliana couldn't read the pages. She glanced up at Hatta before looking back down pretending to be able to read.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Hatta stretched and sighed. "It's too dark to read." He grumbled.

@ShadeStar

"Yeah," Aliana agreed closing her book, "I can try to start a fire?"

@ElderGod-Icefire

"If you want. Or we can just go to bed." Hatta replied with a shrug.

@ShadeStar

"Can we just go to bed?" Aliana asked a little timidly. She was tired and hold habits were rearing their ugly face once more.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Hatta nodded, and took the book, putting it away. "Yeah. Let's go." He stood up.

@ShadeStar

Aliana kept the book in her hands as she stood up grabbing her backpack with her free hand. She looked to Hatta, "Um, you first."
