"I," Aliana swallowed as she thought. She didn't want to burden him with her troubles any further. He already had enough on his plate. She forced a smile onto her face as she looked back, "I'll be fine Just a little shaken that's all."

Hatta nodded. "Alright." He replied. He ran a hand through his hair, shaking his head a little.
Aliana nodded along glad he bought the lie. Her eyes traveled back to the ground and grew glassy as she got lost in thought. She had no idea how she'll be if anything her nightmares would start to reflect that encounter. She didn't want that at all. Maybe she would try to forgo sleeping tonight.
Hatta sighed softly as they walked. He wasn't sure what to do about the monsters.
Aliana hadn't known there would be monsters in the maze, though it made sense. She let out a long breath and looked to the sky, they still had daylight left.
Hatta took a deep breath, shaking his head. There would be more, now that there had been one.
Aliana kept glancing around looking to see if anything else was around. She didn't know if more would be around.
Hatta kept a careful, close eye out to see if any more arrived.
Aliana bit her lip before she asked, "Do you think more will show up?"
"I don't know. I hope not." Hatta replied slowly.
"I hope not too," Aliana echoed responded quietly.
Hatta ran a hand through his hair, shaking his head a little.
Aliana kept walking and adjusted her backpack straps.
Hatta was quiet.
Aliana kept quiet as well. She let out a long sigh.
Hatta sighed softly.
Aliana looked at Hatta and then back at the path, "Maybe we'll find the well after going through that. Wouldn't that be funny? We could've died, but oh hey here's the thing we're looking for."
Hatta laughed. "Yeah, maybe." He agreed. "That would be great."
"It really would be," Aliana laughed slightly before she sighed, "Too bad it probably won't happen.
Hatta shrugged. "Yeah. We could wish it would." He laughed again.

"Want to try?" Aliana said half-joking half being completely serious. The less time they were in here, the less chance they ran into more monsters.
Hatta laughed again. "We may as well."
"Okay, I wish that irony works it's magic and we find the well," Aliana said with a little laugh though everything about it was serious.
Hatta laughed at her a little. "Yeah…me too." He replied.
Aliana had a smile on as she continued a lot more optimistic than earlier.
Hatta was quiet.
Aliana let out a sigh as she looked up to see that they reached another crossroad and not the well like she was hoping for.
Hatta kept looking around for the monster.
(When should they reach the well, do you think? Because I have a big plot twist in mind once they reach it)

Aliana was still on edge though she had brought some peace to her mind.
