All Leon could do was keep hugging him and that's what he did.

Jax suddenly let him go and woke up screaming.

"What happened? Are you okay?" He suddenly got up and rested his hand on Jax's shoulder.

Jax was sweating and gasping and he didn't seem to be able to catch his breath. He was clawing at his throat, and leaving red marks, and almost reopened the wound on his neck.

"Jax, calm down." Leon quickly grabbed Jax's hands and pinned them to his side.

Jax screamed loudly and flailed powerfully underneath him.

(I didn't do this, btw, but I've heard Fever dreams can be REALLY bad so…)

"Jax, listen to me, everything is okay." He said as he looked at him and held his hands down.

Jax didn't seem to be able to hear him, just continued screaming as if someone were being mauled.

Leon quickly moved his hands so he was holding down, both of Jax's hands with one hand and used his free hand to gently grab Jax's chin. "Jax, calm down."

Jax closed his eyes and screamed loudly again, flailing even more, kicking his legs and trying to free his arms.

(I kinda just want Leon to kiss Jax to shut him up)

Leon kept holding down Jax's arms and let go of his chin.

(you think that's gonna work hon lol i would've let you if I picked up on it, sorry)

Jax flails got steadily weaker and his screams softer, but he still jerked side to side occasionally.

(It's fine)

Leon kept holding him down. "Jax, calm down."

Jax still jerked and screamed occasionally, and he flailed weakly ever so often too. Otherwise, he had no change in how he acted, no matter what Leon tried.

Leon kept holding him down and waited for him to calm down.

Twenty minutes passed and he seemed to calm himself down. He gasped and panted.

"Have you calmed down yet?" Leon asked.

Jax made a noise in his throat and jerked to the side.

Leon gently grabbed Jax's chin and makes him look at him, "Tell me everything that happened."

Jax jerked away and screamed faintly.

"Jax, it's going to be okay. Can you please tell me everything that happened?"

Jax gasped and shook his head wildly.

"Why not?"

Jax shook his head violently. "He- he said he'd hurt me if I did!" He sounded close to tears and very afraid.

"No one's going to hurt you when I'm here." He put his hand on Jax's shoulder.

Jax shook his head. "He will…"

"Okay then, you don't have to tell me. By the way, do you still have the fever or no?"

Jax screamed again and flailed around. "Stop! STOP!!"

"Are you okay?" He asked as he held down Jax's hands again.

Jax didn't stop screaming until he fell unconscious from how tired his fever-stricken body was. Even in sleep he was shivery and said 'stop' occasionally in a scared tone.
