When Leon offered Jax some, he refused it and rolled back over into sleep.

Leon sighed and flopped down on the couch and looked through the channels on TV.

Jax jerked in his sleep whining like an injured dog.

Leon finally picked a movie and started watching it while checking on Jax every so often.

It was late at night when Jax jerked awake into his own subconscious. He was in pain and his throat felt dry, and he felt shivery. What happened?

Leon was asleep on the couch, with the remote in his hand, and the movie was still playing and it was currently playing the end credits.

Jax tried to sit up but his body just felt weak and flimsy, and the simple act of breathing even hurt. He went to go call for Leon, but his voice wouldn't work; his throat hurt too much.

Still sleeping.

Jax stirred feebly among the sheets and sloooowly sat up, groaning faintly in agony has he did so.

Leon is still sleeping and the movie is not playing anymore.

Jax looked at the floor, which seemed so far away now. He slowly reached out a quivering leg and set his weight on it. It buckled, and Jax gasped gently in pain.

Jax tucked it back into the warm sheets and shivered, though his hands were warm.

(Poor Jax, Leon is just sleeping while Jax is in pain)

What's wrong with me? Jax whimpered to himself, as his hands shook.

Leon fell off the couch and woke up. He quickly got up and ran to the room. "Are you okay, Jax?"

Jax was watching his shaking hands, and started when Leon ran into the room. "I- Ihm alright…" His voice was soft and hoarse.

"You don't look like it." He walked over to Jax and sat in front of him on the bed then he planted a kiss on Jax's forehead.

His forehead was still very warm and Jax hugged himself, shivering violently, not saying anything.

Leon quickly hugged Jax and rested his head on his shoulder.

His shoulders were hardly straightened, so Leon found it difficult to rest his head on it. Jax shivered more violently still.

Leon ended up not resting his head on his shoulder and he hugged him slightly tighter.

Jax hugged himself tighter and inhaled shakily. "Wh-wh-what's wrong w-with me?"

"Nothing is wrong with you."
