"Go. Talk it through. How can you help her?" Athena practically shoos him away.

"whAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT???"

"How can you comfort her? Secure her? Do what she wants? She needs you, now more than ever."

"I DoN"T KNOW! I DOn'T EVEN KNOW HOW I'M SUPPOSED TO COMFORT MYSELF!"

"She will. You two are like yin and yang. Why else were you picked to share thoughts?" She smiles. "You'll only ever get anything done together."

Artemis glared at Athena. "That's Chinese culture."

"But it's true."

"It may be, but… I don't know, maybe it was a mistake? Temporary?"

"No mistake would end up like that. Do you really love her, now?"

"Of… of course I do. Why wouldn't I?"

"It's not temporary. You calm each other down. She's distressed, you're distressed, and you're both on your own. For the last time, go talk to her."

"Alright, alright Athena, jeez." He stood and started to walk back, the plate he brought limply hanging out of his hand.

Havenwood, are you listening? I don't know if you can hear me, but if you can, please talk. I think I got it out for a little while, and I want to speak my mind - well - you know what I mean - before it comes back. Elise had a mild headache now, but curled into a ball, enjoying the peace and quiet.

(also I changed my name cuz I went to a house party and came out the grandmaster of an elite ninja squad, second only to supreme master will and of course young master bea, sensei tatum, CIT owen, the cadets, and the trainees…we trained and meditated and everything it was awesome.)

It's never really quiet with that. It's kind of like…my darker conscience, I think. And I do want to explain myself, just…I couldn't before because of Conscience.

Havenwood started to jog, and soon he got back to the cottage. "Alright, Elise, what do you want to talk about?" He asked as he shut the door.

"I'm…sorry. For everything earlier this morning. I didn't mean it, not really - Conscience said it, not me. I know that sounds like kindergarten logic - but it's true." She looked up at him with wide eyes. "I want to stay. Please, please believe me when I say that."

He sighed. "I don't know, you don't look happy here… but…" Havenwood shrugged. "I dunno, I'll think about it some more."
