"I'm always right." She leans into him.

Havenwood hummed. "Behind every powerful man is his lover."

"I know. Without me, you'd be nothing but a pile of dust and bones." Elise grins to herself.

Havenwood laughed. "So I would be."

"Now, what would I do without you?"

"Ah, you'd be fine! You'd be living it up in the city with another man, you'd be great."

"What are you talking about, dummy? You're the only man I'd ever love."

"Aaaah, and you'd be so free in the city. The fresh air on your face and a small child in your arms."

"I'm staying right where I am." She crosses her arms.

"Of course you are." Havenwood grinned at her.

"I am a God. And I'm not cute." Havenwood laughed.

"You are to me, cutie." She giggled.

Havenwood waved a hand. "You're cuter."

"No I'm not." Her face creased in annoyance. "You're the cutest and most adorable little thing I've ever seen."
