"Of course," the woman said smoothly. "As always, the higher the price, the higher the prize. And the prize is certainly worth dying over." She watched their faces in the rearview mirror to see how they'd react.
Thomas’s eyes widened. “Did you say die?” he asked, glancing at the others. “What is this amazing prize?”
The woman paused, her lips pressed into a line. "Let's just say that if you take it, you can have it. Or at least some of it."

Logan nodded, "Alright… sounds interesting overall."
“Sounds a bit sketchy…” Thomas added, lifting an eyebrow. “But then again, that’s never stopped me before.” He shrugged. “I suppose I’m in.”

"I'm definitely in." Logan said then smirked. "Sounds like a bit of fun."
Thomas raised his eyebrows again as he glanced at Logan. “You know that you’re insane, right?”

"You know that you're hot right?" Logan smirked and winked at him.

Now that people were on the move, the black carriage shuddered into motion. A soft chuckle rumbled inside, the person within having heard the conversation between the two passengers. “He’s not wrong though.” He spoke to no one, no one was ever in the carriage with him.
Thomas blushed again. “Whatever,” he responded, charmed anyway. He had never been great with compliments, especially if the guy giving them was attractive.
