Zoe woke up in what seemed like an underground bunker. She didn't dare make a sound, in case he might come back. Urgently , she looked around the room for anything that might get her out of the ropes.
( I know, maybe he's doing this because he is afraid of the lab people who made the infection in the first place, but he is actually a good guy.)

Cash groaned in frustration. After having gotten to a place where there seemed to have been a recent small scuffle, there'd been no sign of Zoe. He looks to Aberdeen. "Any ideas?"
“Footprints, Yeah,” she said, gesturing. “Faint, But they’re there. Probably someone light-footed. Also a little big for a woman, so most likely a man. These are boot prints too, so there’s a clue.”

Cash nods, agreeing with her assumptions. He follows the footprints with his eyes, but they taper out after several feet. Sweat runs down into his eyes, making them smart for a moment. He sighs. "We can't go back. We've got to find her." He says the words more to himself than anyone.
