Interesting………I see lots of potential for story here! It sounds like the start to an awesome superhero adventure/drama novel. I think that you're also playing with fire with the conflict of the story getting into the young liberal generation versus old conservative generation. Not that you shouldn't write about it. I say go more power to you.

Thanks, also the main conflict isn't young liberal vs old conservative, it's more of a freedom vs safety/progress vs preservation. There are older people amongst the renegades, it's just that in the town, by a statistical average, the older generations are more conservative and the younger more liberal because the black market and access to outside media is a relatively new thing in the community.
