How does one search for someone, like, is there a search bar for users and I'm looking over it?
Not really… you can look up their name and look through the forums they're in
group
As far as I know, there isn't one yet, but you can go into any forum and start typing in their @, and when you find the user you're looking for, you can go down to the preview and click the link! It'll take you to their page.
THANKS, Oml, that was so helpful

Hello, I was wondering how you change the background of your profile?-
It kinda bothers me because my profile's background isn't matching the pfp-

Unfortunately, you can't change the background of your profile. Or maybe there is a way. I'm not completely sure.

Just this is true, however, if you go under the "My Account" section of the sidebar on your screen, and click the "Help center" spot, you should find a place where you can request a feature. Maybe try requesting it and it could happen in the future!
The profile background syncs to whatever color of page you set as your "favorite page" when editing your profile. I might add other ways to change it in the future, but that's how you can get different colors right now!

Ah, okay! Thank you so much! :D
How do you make things bold or italic?
ac_unit
*word* - italic
**word** - bold
***word*** - bold italic

No problem! I'm happy to help wherever I can!
Have you been putting @ before their names? I knew that was a problem when I tried doing it before. I kept just trying to copy and paste their names instead of typing them out.
Last night I noticed that a post of mine had randomly disappeared when I didn't delete it. Has this ever happened to anyone else and Is there a way to get it back?
I worked really hard on that post. I know it's silly but I'm kinda freaking out and would like to recover it… I've already tried refreshing the page, multiple times, but it's not coming back.
@andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) any chance you can help?
@FanfictionFanatic When you say a post, do you mean a notebook page (pages under "Worldbuilding"), a document, or a forum thread/reply? The first two have changelogs that you should be able to get all of your previous versions (and therefore anything lost) from their history. Unfortunately, we don't have changelogs for forum messages. Was it an existing post you were editing (if so, I might be able to recover it from a previous version of the database)? Or was it a new post you were submitting or responding to? If your progress never got to the server for it to be saved, there's probably not a lot I can do to recover it – but if it was saved at some point somewhere, I might be able to find it with enough digging.
It was a forum post but I wasn't editing it. I don't even know when it disappeared, I just noticed it last night. It had been there since February 2nd at the earliest but definitely before the 10th.
Here's the link. Hope it helps.

It was on the last page… Sort of towards the middle, about 7 or 8 posts down I think, so not very recent but I wouldn't consider it very old either. It would have been between cozylil_ladybug’s posts on Feb 2nd and Feb 10th… you can tell something is missing there.

Hey, so, you know all of those categories you can change in the default editor thing? There are certain categories that link other pages to a one, for example, you can use “Technologies” -> “Add technologies” -> clicking on one of your technologies to link it to a character’s page through that character page. I was wondering, is there any way to change the type of page linked? What if I wanted to link a magic instead of a technology? Or if I wanted to make a new category to link to one such magic, while keeping a technology tab?
