Elliot grew up from a noble family in the royal court famous for producing powerful mages. His specialty was healing, and he had great promise. Later, he discovered that he could even heal those deemed too far gone by giving a bit of his life span. However, he would also discover that this ability worked in reverse, by accidently nearly killing a powerful though corrupt noble. He was then jailed in the royal dungeons and expected to be executed as a result of the noble's influence. There, he meets Alexi, a fellow prisoner in the same cell and eventually they escaped together to the pirate haven of Astrum. By supporting Alexi, Elliot hopes to earn enough money for a royal pardon (which are very pricey). The two of them develop a very close friendship, and later Elliot manages to open a small apothecary, where he still maintains a partnership with Alexi.
