Above average, since he was frail since a young age he spent his time studying.

Born as the only son in a family of elves, Daehal took after his parents' job. A silk weaver, an art passed down through his ancestors, as his surname indicates. However, he always had a fragile body, keeping him from going out and socializing with other elves. So, when he met Edwina he fell in love almost immediately. He didn't care that she was a human, nor that she was a church follower, despite him hating the church for manipulating people through power and fear.

However, that wouldn't have been a problem if not for her parents that were church fanatics and were against them being together. They wanted her to marry someone from the church and had even arranged a marriage for her. So, when they learned that she was pregnant with his child they decided that they would disown her. In the last month of her pregnancy, they invited her over to their home, tricking her into believing that they had accepted everything, but alas, they had put body fluids from an ancient in her drink. It was given to them by her ex-fiance. He told them that it would cleanse her mind and body bringing her closer to the ancients... salvation.

Upon the first signs of the sickness, she realized her parents' scheme and sought out the doctor of the village. She asked them to help her save her child. The doctor heard her plea and performed a c-section bringing the baby girl to the world earlier than she was supposed to. With tears in her eyes, the mother welcomed her baby and realized that she wouldn't be the reason why her child would live in pain. So she came up with a plan that she knew Daehal wouldn't agree on.

She was going to leave her child with him and flee before she would lose her conscience and humanity. A dark night with a thunderstorm, just before the week had finished and with a wound from the c-section still fresh, she ran away. She knew the rain would cover her scent and tracks.

Daehal woke up the next morning to find a letter, in which Edwina explained what had happened to her and told him to not look for her and pretend that she was never a part of his life. She pleaded with him to cover her existence behind a new relationship, from now on his daughter was to be his little sister. Her disappearance caused him to dive into despair for days before the newborn baby's cry brought him back to reality. He had to be strong for her at least... their baby girl. The only proof that Edwina ever existed.

Fleeing from Iaciela back to Criora with his parents, was the only way to protect his daughter. It was the only way his little girl wouldn't find out about her mother and keep her far away from her mother's relatives. Pretending to be her brother though was a lot harder than he imagined... he always wanted to be called dad, however, he had decided to protect their child, like his wife had pleaded him to. So, the first thing he did was give her an elvish name, in an attempt to hide the fact that she had human blood. Amail. The beautiful gift Edwina left behind.

The years passed and Amail grew up into a beautiful young woman, whose beauty was unparalleled to any girl in the surrounding areas. Many men visited her with gifts and proposals however, her will to protect the weak led her to seek more than just a normal housewife's lifestyle. She wants to become a hunter.
