They're a second-year student at FSMA.

Frog was born in Lambertville, New Jersey and was adopted by human parents. They lived there until they moved to Philadelphia for college. They knew from a young age that they weren't quite like other kids. They tended to gravitate toward masculine clothing when they were growing up, much to their parents' confusion & dislike, but when they came out as nonbinary at 15, their parents weren't too surprised, but that's not to say they threw their undying support to Frog either. The three years between coming out and going to college were hell and Frog didn't feel bad whatsoever when cutting off their parents.

They were very lucky to meet Dick during their freshman year of college, especially since they aren't particularly great at meeting new people and Dick initiated the conversation first. He helped them out on one of their first days of magical studies classes and they shared notes, later becoming unlikely friends.
They met Juniper in one of their art classes during their second semester and bonded over their art, although their styles are extremely different.
They met Shiloh when she became their new roommate since their previous roommate dropped out. They bonded over their love of energy drinks and their shared recklessness.

They cut off their adoptive parents when they moved out for college and is forever on the search for their birth parents.
