Wave comes from Golnara, a rather small tropical planet. The world, being made up of island chains and archipelago, Home to several organizations, Wave started his career as a trade negotiator for the Thousand-Isle Coalition. Chosen for his keen eye for local customs and 'soft-skills', he was sent out on lots of trade expeditions, nabbing deals here and there. After the Convention of Tortuga and things started escalating, Wave turned to educate other trade negotiators so they could traverse the extremely volatile trade landscape. But, a teacher just never stops learning so Wave pitched an anthropological expedition throughout the rim of the galaxy. With more knowledge of planet customs and culture, more trade deals can be made. The Coalition gave the green light and Wave departed to travel and document the galaxy's cultures, and eventually publishing some of his findings.

It didn't take long for Wave to visit the Orc homeworld and get submerged in its fascinating culture. Residing for longer than usual, Wave adopted parts of Orc culture as she departed with fond memories and a promise of return.

As Wave kept traveling the spaceways, bundling, and publishing her findings, she started to adopt the belief that a cosmopolitan view on the universe could only be beneficial. Sadly, as leadership changed within the Coalition on Golnara, funding for anthropological expeditions kept dwindling. Eventually, the Coalition stopped funding altogether and the pursuit of customs and culture stopped, along with the old passion for trade negotiation. If the taste for exploration and new friends could not be satisfied with the Coalition, she could surely find it somewhere.
