She is well spoken and charismatic, yet also cold to the suffering of her people.

Revenge for the slaughter of her people. She has been in power so long that most have forgotten the leadership she overthrew. She was forced to marry the old king over four hundred years ago when he captured her, believing her to be humanoid and "rescuing" her from the dragons. Nearly 30 years later, he fell ill and died, leaving her to rule. She now has a daughter, whose father is unknown, and she is fiercely protective of her.

She is unforgiving and still holds the grudge of her people's death over the humanoids in the city.

She believes humanoids to be cruel and useless. No one tried to help her when she was forced to marry the king. Now she takes her anger out on her kingdom, uncaring about how much pain she causes with her heavy taxation and strict laws.

Dictator, no one wants to go against her because of the dragon she has somehow tamed.

A locket with a small blue sapphire in it. It is actually a part of her mother that she was able to save and has an enchantment on it to hide her true form/alignment. Her mother gave it to her before she was killed and told her daughter to stay safe.

She has a sword that appears to be made of pure sapphire. It is forged from the scales of her family. He former husband had it made to show off how he slaughtered the dragons. She now wields it in honor of them.

She is a Sapphire Dragon. When she was young, the city blamed animal deaths and poor weather on the nest of dragons nearby. The king and his army set out and destroyed this nest. Before they could find her, her mother gave her the amulet, believing a humanoid form would be the only way to save her daughter. She was then captured and forced to marry the King. The King found out what she was, and thus used her to keep their kingdom safe. He had his magic advisor create shackles that would prevent her from truly escaping. She was finally able to poison the King 30 years later. The magic advisor fled and thus she is shackled to this kingdom, unable to leave. 400 years later, she still rules, though no one knows her true form. They simply believe her to be an elf with control of the king's dragon. She now has a daughter z though she refuses to tell of the father. The princess is rarely seen outside of the castle walls and sports a necklace similar to her mother's.
