Howlite is 360 pounds, heavy kiddo. Howlite's gem barely weighs an ounce when he gets poofed.

6 feet tall (excluding horns. 11 feet tall with his horns)

Howlite is a tall wolf-like creature. He is dove white with howlite-like ebony black markings on his mane. He also has ash gray, wolf-like markings. Howlite has a set of massive kudu horns sprouting from his head that are charcoal black and pointy. He has crystal blue eyes and his gem is a howlite in a shape of a wolf nose, located on his snout.

His Howlite-like mane can be quite easy to identify. He is also one of the few male gems and even fewer animal-like gems. Howlite is the only Howlite so it's much easier to find him.

Howlite has mildly polite manners to everyone. He's quite easy-going and diplomatic, so it's a little bit of work getting mad at him. Howlite is friendly, so friends are easier to make.

Howlite wishes to do his part in protecting planet Earth and he fights to protect the Earth, much like Amethyst. He wants a peaceful, stable environment and is willing to go with the flow in order to achieve that.

Howlite is an easy-going, peaceful gem. Because he spent some time away from any social interaction, Howlite is rather awkward and quiet. At first, he didn't speak unless it was necessary and didn't respond to others when they said his name. Howlite listens to others and prefers to be on his own. He doesn't make eye contact with those he's speaking with. This doesn't mean Howlite doesn't care- he's very open-minded and accepting. Howlite has trouble starting or keeping up with conversations.

Howlite doesn't really have powers (other than enchanted smelling, hearing, sight, stamina, and shapeshifting) which may cause him to be nervous around other gems. At his worst moments, he's spaced out, forgetful, passive-aggressive, and judgmental.

Howlite has a prejudice against anyone who was once with the Diamonds, the Diamonds in general, former shatters, bird-eating animals, and people with tattoos.

Howlite has enchanted smelling, hearing, and sight. He has excellent stamina and can shapeshift. Otherwise, Howlite has no other powers. This may cause him to be nervous around other gems since he doesn't really have any other powers.

Howlite enjoys quietly studying birds, birdwatching, birds in general, sleeping under the sun, racing in the woods, and pushing things off the shelves.

Howlite is lawful good. He's trying to be a good, lawful citizen.

Howlite considers himself to be a protector of Earth while his friends see him as a member of the Crystal Gems. Everyone else sees him as wildlife on the loose.

Bandit - Howlite has a positive relationship with the raccoon. Howlite often listens to what Bandit asks of him and although Howlite gets slightly irritated when Bandit gets annoying, the two have a positive relationship.

Speckle - Howlite considers her to be one of his best friends. Speckle feels comfortable sharing links and websites she found with Howlite. Speckle would only show signs of frustration with tail flicks. They are on good terms otherwise.

Frostbite - Howlite and Frostbite are on neutral terms. The two haven't interacted much- partly because Howlite is imitated by Frostbite and doesn't wish to interact with her. Frostbite doesn't mind Howlite shoving things into her mane.

The Crystal Gems - They're in a neutral yet slightly positive relationship. Howlite is sort of like an ally to them. They're decently good enough for them to not chase Howlite out of the Temple, although they get annoyed when Howlite pushes things off the shelf.

Howlite's birthday wasn't recorded, although it can be safe to assume it's right after the Corrupting Light. Hence, he might as well be around the same age as Amethyst.

Howlite technically already knew everything (or at least a lot of things) when he came out so he doesn't really need an education. He looks to Speckle or the internet whenever he has a question.

Howlite was originally a gem experiment after the gems became curious about wildlife on Earth. He was created by a Peridot, but the gems (except for the Peridot) wanted to shatter him after he emerged. However, the Peridot begged Howlite's life to be spared. Both Howlite and the Peridot ended up being bubbled.

However, orders were given to fleeing Earth and Howlite was forgotten. Being inside a bubble/being poofed saved Howlite from being corrupted. A couple of corrupted monsters popped Howlite's bubble and he was cornered when a wolf pack saved him. He decided to stay with the pack for generations to come.

Sadly, the wolf pack's numbers began to dwindle as each of its members was caught and killed by hunters. Howlite, devastated, left to find some other life purpose. He later stumbled into Beach City, where they met the Crystal Gems, Speckle, Bandit, and Oreo. At first, their relationship was rocky, but Howlite's presence soon became a normal sight.

After the events of The Future, Yellow Diamond came back to Earth. She wanted to reveal the Peridot who created him. With shaky paws, Howlite popped the bubble, and a steampunk-themed Peridot formed. As of right now, Howlite is currently catching up with his creator (AKA Goggles)

Howlite once had a pet bird who was nameless before his wolf pack ate the bird. Afterward, Howlite was incredibly upset.

"... Hi? I'm Howlite. Nice to meet you."
"What do you mean it's not your cup of tea? It's a yacht, not a cup of tea!"

Howlite is a gem so he can't die or have blood unless he wishes to show blood. Howlite's gem is located on his snout as a nose. His mane is only there for showing off and nothing else.
Howlite sometimes twitches his ear whenever he's happy and wags his tail whenever he's angry/nervous.
Howlite really loves birdwatching and can often be found birdwatching on a tree.
