March 14th, XXXX

Born on March 14th 20XX, Optis was the Son of the leader of a small village named Kamubori, in the southwest of the continent Fomoon. His mother and father, both very caring, raised him as a good child. He didn't really have any family issues, gaining a Dog when he was about 10/11. The story of him and Okime was while Optis was an early teen, he went out into the forest to find some livestock, when he found Okime, near a river, injured. He decided to try and take care of the dog, but the poor Wolf-Shepard mix was confused and panicked, it had been headbutt by a wild boar, and was trying to recover naturally when Optis found it. Optis noticed its pain, and when trying to get close, Okime assumed Optis was the moan and leaped, tearing a chunk of skin and blood off of his right temple. Optis was able to take hold of the wild Dog, and get it to calm down, and after a while, Optis decided to leave the dog be. The dog, unbeknownst to Optis's ideals, decided to follow Optis home. From that day forth, Optis and Okime have been like blood brothers since, where Okime helps Optis find wild livestock and food, and in return, Optis takes full care and responsibility of Okime. Optis, having a mother and father, lived a good life with them and Okime, up until a year or two after Okime became an addition to the family. The mother of the family, named Yumi Cook, was an explorer, and helped the father, Kiraiden, found the village of Kamubori. Yumi wanted to find another place for mining besides the Millenium Mountain located near Kamubori, so she bestowed Optis with one of her old weapons to protect himself and the village, the DemonFire Blade, and set off. Every once in and while Yumi would send mail home via a Horseback mail system, but soon mail stopped showing up. From a week or two after Optis's 14th Birthday, Yumi was pronounced dead without ever finding a body. Optis lived in denial and still does to this current day, but there is still a crack of glass in his heart that he thinks Yumi is actually dead. His father, Kiraiden, came to pass soon after this pronunciation. There was an attack on the village by a foreign, thief race known as the Pillagers, in which his father passed due to his middle age combat skills. Optis believed from the day after the funeral forth, that he was cursed, being unable to save both of his parents. This leads us to the current day, where he strives to become the best leader Kamubori has to offer, as it has been rebuilt from the ground up to contain the largest shopping district in the nation. He is currently sixteen years old, as Okime is only 6 years old. His progress towards making Kamubori the best village known to man still continues, until he finds an unknown character in a nearby forest, a standing Pig-man?

Stutters a lot around Women (Which he believes is a part of the Curse, when in all reality it's just him).
Loves any, and all sorts of pets and animals unconditionally, even though he gathers and hunts wild Sheep, Pigs, Cows, ETC.
Can be very oddly stubborn. (He has grabbed the blade of his sword on accident, on multiple occasions, which explains some bandages you can find wrapped around his hand.)
Has a hard time accepting help from those around him, even those close to him.
