Neophyte's magic includes the power to remove people's memory/thoughts and take them for his own. Usually Neo has to be careful of how valuable these memories are, for every memory has the risk of being vital to the person in question. By destroying the memory, he could destroy the person's conscious memory easily. Neo will then take the thoughts and memories for his own to ensure their destruction.

Neo was fairly famous starting in his modeling career, where he learned more about politics and the struggle of people around him. Along with his desire for power, and to help his co-workers, his innocent self worked to get kingship. He met the king at the time, worked under him as an assistant, where Neo essentially seduced his way into the king's pocket.
With little regard to him, Neo slowly took control of the king's responsibilities, for the king was very young and didn't know much about politics as Neo did. Neo used Charles (the king) as a poster child for years until their marriage was announced. Over the twenty-ish years after, Neo took control of the visual appearances with people, in speeches, and even in meetings with other countries. The years chugged along and Neo took further control, and soon he was regarded as the only king as Charles grew older and passed away due to his old age. Neo's magic kept him looking young and healthy, so Charles' passing was tragic, but the people under Neo felt that they had a responsible, loving king because of his work for so many years. Neo shifted the family name to "Whembrooke" and taking complete totality of his government, with nothing holding him back.
