Mockingjay has no hair or fur, but her scales are a light pear green, darker and more saturated on the outskirts of her body and more yellow on her neck and belly. She has two, lime green, diamond-shaped wings lined with an inoffensive apple red. Her tail is striped with the two shades of green scattered around the rest of her body, ending in a three-pointed fan with the same color pattern as her wings. She has short, green arms with three fingers each, ending in one snowy white claw each. A brown leather sachet which she carries her letters in sits over her right shoulder and around her left wing. There are some multicolored desert charms hanging off of the sachet’s sides. Along with all of her daily letters to deliver is, unbeknownst to anyone but herself, her father’s Golden Clover (the Mystery Dungeon equivalent of a military Purple Heart), kept safely with her at all times.

Mockingjay has a softer face than most other Flygon, a combination of genetics and her own mellow nature. The top side of her head is a saturated green the color of snap peas, while the bottom half near her neck is much lighter. There are two translucent red biological goggle-like covers over her eyes, an adaptation of her species to keep out the sand. Because of these lenses, nobody knows her true eye color, and everything she sees has a red tint. Trailing from the top of her head like horns is a pair of granny smith green antennae, like the tails of a garden snake.

Her appearance is just about average for her age and species. Physically, she’s a bit more muscular than you’d expect due to her experiences in the Sand Continent military and Battle Club. Her jawline is a bit softer than those of other Flygon, and her general bone structure is somewhat round.

As mentioned above, she carries a single sachet with her at all times to hold mail and letters for her job. Any packages are held in her own arms and delivered immediately to rid of the burden.

I mean, I have her backstory and a rough image of her personality, but, like... I don’t know, it feels like I have her general vibe, just not any real traits or anything? it’s weird

She’s not named after the Hunger Games, rather, I named her with a mockingbird in mind, but misremembered it as “mockingjay.” The name’s stuck, but I’ve definitely had a few classmates talk about HG with me, assuming I’m familiar with the series because of it...
