Speaks with an Acarian accent. She usually has a formal dialect, due to her background, however this gets less prominent the more time she spends with Seth and Sandra. She is usually very deliberate when she speaks and rarely gets flustered. When she does, however, it is usually because of extreme emotion and most often in small conversation. This can cause her to stumble over her words and rush her speech.

She doesn't laugh hard very often. When something is amusing, she will usually smile and give a small, usually quick and quiet, laugh. However, if she laughs hard enough, it's silent because she's laughing to the point of not being able to breath. This will sometimes cause her to snort when she laughs. She is mortified by this, but Seth finds it adorable.

Her sense of humor is typically witty and/or clever, but she eventually finds Seth and Sandra's antics to be hilarious. She doesn't make jokes very often, but she does like a good laugh.

Due to her background, she usually has pretty good posture. When she is emotional, she usually slumps much more than usual.

Adalynn's parents were minor nobles who happened to be part of Carlow's court. She and her brother Miles were raised by them until they were 4 and 12, respectively. For about 3 years after their parents' deaths, they were raised by attendants and their maternal uncle Lester, who was an advisor to the King. The King and Queen took an interest in Adalynn and her brother and adopted them at ages 7 and 15.

Adalynn grew to be very close with the Queen, Amber. She couldn't remember her birth parents much, and they quickly felt like family.

Throughout her childhood, Adalynn became close with a pair of siblings who were also in the court- Ivy and Andrew Gray. They added a fourth to their group as they got to know a boy just a few years older- Jasper Cliff. The four of them were very close for years.

Adalynn and Miles remained close, though Miles now had to prepare as heir to the throne. They remained close with Lester as well.

When Adalynn was about 16 or 17, Miles was sent to head a diplomatic mission to the mainland. His ship never made it to its destination.

Adalynn was devastated, and by default was forced to take on her brother's role as heir.

Not long after Miles's accident, King Rupert fell ill and passed away after a while.

Adalynn and Amber were closer than ever, and Lester, having lost two family members, and so close together. Adalynn became much more somber and duty-oriented.

One year after Rupert's passing, Amber was found dead.

Adalynn was once again hit with loss, and Lester did his best to help her through it. Her friends were incredibly supportive, and she and Jasper became closer.

At age 19, Adalynn was of age to be crowned Queen of Acara. It was sooner than she expected, but she prepared as much as she could.

At her coronation, something went horribly wrong and a rebel lord tried to overthrow her. She fled, and our story picks up right before this coronation-turned-disaster.

Eventually gains custody of Millie (mare) from Seth.

When at home:
