Amity is an excellent leader. She issues effective orders in order to keep the agency running. She can be quite stern to her coworkers as a leader. She expects them to keep things running smoothly and will scorn them if something goes wrong. She also has high standards for herself as a leader and field agent. This demonstrates how hard she works. It also demonstrates her bravery, resolves, and character strength.

Amity has a tendency to be arrogant and to believe that everything she says is correct. This relates to her obstinate personality. Despite this, she has excellent self-control. She is self-sufficient but prefers to work in groups. Amity is quick to make judgments. Some people she can trust, while others she cannot. At the same time, she is willing to slow down and discover the truth.

Despite the fact that her sternness and arrogance make it appear as if she lacks affection, she can be kind.

Daemonium-Angelus "Demon-Angel" is a religion with no god. Heaven is directed by a chosen leader and hell is ruled by the King of Hell. A lot of the basics are like Christianity (Like going to Heaven or Hell when you die), minus the Bible and its stories.

There was a deity named Mother. Mother faded after she created her two sons. Haiti, the first demon, and Ira, the first angel. Haiti made Hell and Ira made Heaven.

An important part of the story is that Haiti killed his brother, Ira. That is why Heaven is led by government and Hell is led like a monarchy. (I will link pages for it to make sense :3)

She graduated high school before being pulled into the world of the bureau. She is an older resident compared to some others

Amity was born to Nicole and Christopher in 1991. Because of her mother's military job, she lived in Alaska until 2003. Her father suffered from schizophrenia. Although her father was not schizophrenic, he possessed clairvoyance. Amity's adolescence was relatively normal. Because of her father's ramblings about monsters in the night, she found it difficult to establish a relationship with him.

She reported seeing these monsters when she was 12 years old. Her mother became concerned that her daughter might be schizophrenic as well. Amity was diagnosed with it and was required to attend weekly psychiatric sessions. It wasn't easy to persuade anyone that she wasn't schizophrenic. Because of her condition, she wasn't trusted. This made her weary around some people.

Amity went on a twilight walk with her father after finishing her 8th grade year in 2005. They had strayed far from Charlottesville. Her father was as still as a statue, his eyes wide open. He'd seen a demon, and Amity had caught wind of it as well.

The demon's eyes appeared in the approaching darkness and attacked. Her father's throat was slashed. Amity was holding his hand when she collided with her father's body. She was on her way to becoming demon food when an agent intervened. Amity was shaken after witnessing her father's murder, so this agent brought her back to the bureau. Julian treated her, and she began her training.

In the summer heat of 2005, she met Holly. Holly helped her with trauma and identity. They were immediate friends and had wonderful chemistry. After six years of closeness, they started dating in 2013. In 2019, they got engaged.

Events directly before the story:

The past deputy, Ian Redleaf was killed in 2017 by Nathaniel (this is unknown to the agents). Ian's death was mourned for two days, and on the third morning, Amity was chosen to be the deputy based on her leadership, diligence, and good character. She's been co-running the agency with Dominic since.

She has something called clairvoyance or rarely the second sight. This second sight was originally given by angels (By the leader changing Ira's creation's visual cortex slightly), but since has become a genetic asset. 2 out of 160,000 have it. She can see the supernatural world and through human disguises. It changed the perception of the optical lobe, making them aware of the inhuman side. Most are usually mistakenly diagnosed with Schizophrenia and hallucinations by doctors.
