Nature
Seraphim is incredibly violent. It is silent, except when it throws punches, during which it cries growls loudly and repeatedly. With a relatively human face, it may scowl and smile. It has a very malicious grin when it is first revealed.
Unlike Asura, who enjoys taunting and humiliating his opponents during battle, and enjoys prolonging battles to inflict as much punishment as possible, Seraphim remains focused and mostly silent during its only fight, and seeks to defeat Warren as quickly as possible.
This might be because Medea is the dominant personality while Ahsmanet is reduced to a battery of power for her.
History
Seraphim is the name of Medea’s angelic transformation—the result of her being exposed to, possessed by, and completely consumed by the demon Ahsmanet’s essence. But instead of corrupting her, the demonic energy was purified within her during the battle against The Void, Sokar ( Warren Norrington ).
At first, everyone assumed Seraphim was just how Medea looked while under Ahsmanet’s form. But that changed when Medea returned Ahsmanet to Emma Norrington Jr.'s body… and still retained Seraphim’s form.
As Medea later explained, this meant that while Ahsmanet and Seraphim were once the same entity when bound to Emma, they became separate beings the moment Ahsmanet fused with Medea. It was as if they had once been roots of the same tree, but after splitting into different branches, one branch was permanently severed—leaving Seraphim as something entirely Medea’s own.
This transformation is a double-edged weapon, turning Medea into something far beyond human. She can rip through enemies like a wild animal, and even consume people whole. On top of that, every aspect of her physical abilities—strength, speed, stamina, reflexes, perception, and durability—gets cranked up to an insane degree.
But there’s a catch. Becoming Seraphim means she stops being mortal, which also means she loses all access to magic, including Umbrakinesis. Sounds like a major drawback—until you realize what she gets in return: a level of regeneration so absurd it borders on godlike.
Sure, in terms of raw power, Seraphim is still on par with Quincey and a step behind Ahsmanet—especially Sokar. But it doesn’t even matter. Because while they can break bones, crush limbs, and tear flesh, she always comes back. You could reduce her to nothing but a single cell… and she’d still regenerate, ready to tear you apart.
Powers/Abilities
SUPERHUMAN STRENGTH:
Seraphim, being an angel, inherently possesses greater strength compared to the average human. Nevertheless, her strength doesn't quite match Sokar's; in fact, she seems rather weak for a chthonic entity. To cause him significant harm, she needs to employ a variety of attacks in greatly measured amounts.
SUPERHUMAN SPEED AND REFLEXES:
The speed at which Seraphim moves is beyond the perception of the human eye, a level of agility that finds its equal only in Sokar, especially him, as he nearly mirrors her step for step and meets her in every exchange during a fight.
REGENERATION:
Undoubtedly the favorite of Seraphim's abilities, she possesses the extraordinary skill of rapid and flawless regeneration from any physical harm. She has withstood being torn apart by standard weapons, demonic onslaughts, and even sacred weaponry created to kill other demons. While Sokar's attacks have a more pronounced impact, reducing her to a gory mess, her regenerative capabilities remain in play, albeit at a slightly slower pace.
The only condition for Seraphim's complete regenerative prowess? It primarily operates outside the confines of the Mortal Realms; she must be situated in the Underworld or any alternate dimension to fully tap into the extent of her regeneration. Unfortunately, Warren had no awareness of this drawback when he brought her into his dimension.
