She met Nightshade when she was young and had recently run away, and he took her under his wing. She thinks of him as more of a guardian/parent figure than her actual parents.

Maraude has tried to manipulate Sienna, and although she convinced her to leave, she tried to turn her into a army member. Sienna quickly realizes Maraude is evil, since Maraude was pushing a bit too hard, and it ends with Sienna hating Maraude deeply.

Nightshade taught Sienna self-defense, and when she was young, kept her warm, sheltered, and fed. Whenever she needs help, she can always turn to him. She often turns to him when she can't afford food, or when she's in danger or doesn't have shelter.

She meets Bamboo, and after a while, she ends up falling for her. She admires Bamboo's courage and ability to speak up.
