Very dark brown, basically black unless it's in direct sunlight.

Very straight, to his shoulders. Pulls it back in a little bun at the back of his head if he's doing something.

Rich, emerald green with traces of blue/teal in them.

Medium-toned with olive undertones.

Lean, with long legs and broad shoulders. Has a very powerful grip and dexterous fingers. He's actually got a lot of muscles, especially in his legs and fingers.

Has lots of piercings on his ears (several helix, one forward helix, a daith, and three on his earlobe). Has snakebites. Wears huge, gold, round, wire-rim glasses. Has a purplish birthmark in the shape of a butterfly on the inside of his right wrist (he was not born with it, it was given to him when he encountered All That Glitters as a toddler).

You can usually find him in the Academy's uniform. Very rarely is he in 'casual' clothes. If he is, they are most likely to be suits. He's not put together at all, though. Shirts are crumpled and misbuttoned, pants are creased, hair is messy.

Round face, thin lips, slightly upturned nose.

He pushes his glasses up his nose or bites his lip a lot when he's thinking. Stands with his left shoulder slightly higher than his right, usually with his hands clasped together in front of him or holding/fidgeting with something.

He wants to find out all the secrets Eretien holds.

He tends to not observe boundaries or rules if they stand between him and a breakthrough. Will not hesitate to throw himself into a dangerous situation if it will help his cause.

Never takes anything at face value, even if it's from a trusted source.

He's quite intelligent, and gifted when it comes to magic. Pretty decent with a violin.

Going to bookshops and finding old books on magic and history, though he will get books on other subjects if they look interesting. Playing the violin. Experimenting with magic and technology.

Intensely curious. Also just intense in general. Is not shy about eye contact and will stare, even if it might not be appropriate. Does not give up easily, if ever, and is very stubborn. Has terrible people skills. Does not like lying but is very good at it if push comes to shove. Will not hesitate to state his own opinions, and will stick to his values no matter what. If he knows something, he will act like it. Always has an aura of confidence radiating off of him. Literally doesn't care at all about societal expectations or laws if it comes between him and something he's curious about.

He's in his last year of university.

He was born as the sole child of the Cavriel family, which was an old, well-respected family from the founding days of Eretien. He was brought up in a very magic-heavy environment, which meant that he was much closer to the gods and other magical entities of Eretien. Because of this, he was able to see the wizards and witches. He also had quite a few encounters with gods as he grew up, both of which encouraged him to pursue the study of magic. He did pretty well in school and had no problem getting into the Academy of Eretien's Mechanics of Magic program.

He's very adept in modern magic and passing in wizard magic. He controls wizard magic or, as he calls it, silky magic, with gestures similar to the ones he uses for modern magic.
