Talia has the long and lean body of a dancer. She has been dancing since she was 12 years old and her body reflects that, not only in casual stance but in movement and flexibility. She has slender legs and arms, and she can dance as well barefoot as she can in high stilettos.

She has naturally black hair, and rather than do anything that might hurt the color, she changes it up with wigs as they befit her costume. Her favorite is a blonde wig.

Her hair is normally kept long and straight to her lower back, but she is also known to chop it all off to a bob when she gets too tired of it.

She has no tattoos - no desire to mar the skin (Nothing against those that do, she likes tattoos, but she's vain of how clear and clean her skin is.)

Her ears are pierced three times each side and she has a belly button ring and a small gold septum piercing.

Her clothing - when not at work in the skimpy outfits of an exotic dancer - are designed for ease of movement; and also lots of little secret pockets and hiding places for squirreling things away.

When needing to 'dress to impress' she wears anything that will amplify the assets, particularly fond of 'the little black dress' or a sinful red, with any kind of heel that accentuates her legs, and jewelry enough to match - almost to the level of gaudy, if only because no one notices one more bracelet if you already have an armful of bangles.

Despite what it seems she's rarely in high heels outside of work or these events, favoring instead running or walking shoes with good support.

None - she has an obsessive beauty routine to keep her skin clean, clear, and without marks or blemishes. She's proud of how smooth and even her tan skin tone is.

One word to sum up Talia is: spitfire.

The thing is, Talia's inner fire sparks from confidence, not arrogance. She knows she's attractive, she knows she has something to offer the world, and it's the world's choice whether it takes her as she is. She won't settle for less than what she's owed from life. And she feels that the world owes her a lot.

She is a temptress, flirty and seductive, and it's not clear whether that's just how she is because of work or because she really enjoys it. It's hard to know in general if the persona Talia exudes into the world is a fabrication or her genuine self. It's not like anyone would ever get close enough to her to know the difference, not these days.

She is playful with her friends, purposefully flirty to her enemies, and sweet and loving with her lovers. She's just living life and has fallen in love with the life she has, even if it was entirely unconventional and mostly illegal.

Talia can be a friendly person, but mostly she is feisty and mischievous. She's playful and loving with close friends, but all bets are off with acquaintances. She will treat you no differently than she treats her patrons: put on a show for them.

While Talia is a tease, she is also a motherly sort of personality, and a person raised on 'found family': her chosen people are her family come hell or high water, and she would Fite anyone who hurt the ones she loved. Whether that's physically or emotionally. Talia does not hesitate to throw hands, and she packs a mean punch. With the kind of clientele she often interacts with, sometimes the only way to get through to them is with her fists.

Talia is bisexual, but leans towards men. Her idea of intimacy is directly tied to her upbringing: love and sex are not the same thing, and it is possible to have one without the other. Pleasure for pleasure's sake is more her style; although she's not above having lovers or long-term relationships, she's never viewed love as an attainable goal and thus, is content to ride out the fling with someone rather than make any claims on 'forever'.

Talia is an accomplished dancer, able to dance in a wide range of styles, and she is also highly flexible. A lean body and muscular structure means she's also good at climbing and navigating her way into places she shouldn't be, which makes the whole 'jewelry heist' business easier.

One downside of a dancer and athlete's life is the constant soreness and body aches. Talia's version of idling is often stretching, such as shifting her weight on her feet, flexing her hip joints, rolling her neck or shoulders. She rarely stands completely still unless she's focused on a task that requires it, because otherwise she will subconsciously seek to ease some mild ache or pain or soreness that's always present.

Talia was born and raised in the US, though her family traces through the Mediterranean. Who she was prior to aged 12 - when she wandered into Sweet Tooth, the gang-run strip club where she grew up from then on - she absolutely refuses to speak about. She has never breathed a word of it to anyone. Ever.

Generally if asked about her past, Talia will imply that she was always at Sweet Tooth, that one of the ladies there was her mother and some random john her father. She doesn't correct when someone believes that implication to be the truth. However, if asked about it point blank - Talia will not respond.

However, some fun facts about her life from before:

• Talia was not an only child. She was the eldest daughter.


• Talia was a runaway. Any legal documents in the present day, such as birth certificate or social security number, are fakes that the mobsters in charge of the Sweet Tooth got for her.


• As a side effect of the above, 'Talia Cohen' is not her birth name. She doesn't answer to any other, however.


• Talia was not on the streets long enough to have to sell herself, but it was a close thing. One particular encounter was what drove her into Sweet Tooth to begin with.

Nowhere important

None to speak of outside a high school diploma. She's never been interested in anything but dancing.

She's fluent in nothing but English, but she's picked up lots of words and phrases in lots of different languages from her clientele.

Meet Talia! She has been in Snow Haven for a couple of years now, as an exotic dancer for the Cat's Eye Cabaret. She is also a jewelry thief; she's been stealing from drunks and patrons since she first started into the business as a child, and she's an active part of a stolen jewelry ring in Snow Haven.

Talia has been on her own for a very long time. She'd tell you dismissively she doesn't remember when, but it was about from the age of 12. From then on she was on the streets and on her own, doing whatever she could to survive. The one blessing she can count is she never had to sell herself, though she came close; she was taken in after less than a year by a pimp running a strip club, and she became a runner and a thief for the club.

The women were like mothers and sisters to her; and the men weren't really all that bad either. They taught her everything she knows now: how to dance, how to take care of herself, and how to steal. She started with the stealing, proving her adept with swift little hands, taking jewelry and money from drunk patrons who wouldn't realize it was missing until it was too late.

This found 'family' as dysfunctional and illegal as it was put Talia through school so she at least was able to graduate with a high school diploma. Though she opted not to go on to college and returned to work at the strip club when she was 18 and finally legal. She was fiercely loyal to her 'sisters' and quickly became an exotic dancer to work alongside them. And luckily for her, in this one aspect, life had been kind; she grew into a bold and beautiful young woman, fully utilizing her sex appeal to great success with her audiences.

However the club had found itself in a hard spot; their boss owed a lot of money to the wrong people, and eventually the club had to fracture and scatter. Talia, with nowhere to go once again, decided to follow some of her sisters north to Alaska, and Snow Haven, where not only did the supernatural underground thrive but their kind of work seemed relatively safe. It was a playground for the rich and famous, after all. She got a job at the Cat's Eye Cabaret not long after arriving in Snow Haven.

Now Talia works for Cat's Eye Cabaret as an exotic dancer, and on the side continues her jewelry heisting as part of a local ring in Snow Haven.

Talia is a Selkie. A Selkie is a shape-shifting sea creature that sheds the skin of a beast form to walk on land with the use of an object called a talisman.
