Mira is very kindhearted and rather soft spoken most of the time. She is, however, one of the mentally strongest people in Merikai, partially due to her nature, but also helped along by her magic.

Reading mainly, though she also enjoys many an art form. Music, acting, painting, one can barely name a pursuit without Mira's name popping up.

Mirabelle has a prodigious memory, one of the reasons for her voracious appetite when it comes to books. This led to her skill with magic; remembering an astounding amount of phrases, and how changing their syntax effects the spell.

Mirabelle lacks deep confidence. She knows what she mat have to do in the future, but she is afraid she won't be up to the task, and that she will worsen the situation if it comes to it. She's much more comfortable with Aetran than she is with leading, partially why Emilia has taken control of their resistance cell.

She is currently entirely driven by a desire to restore Amaranthine to a sovereign nation, and bring it back to it's former glory. In the back of her mind though, she is afraid. Afraid that the rest of her family is dead, afraid that she will have to ascend the throne and lead the kingdom if they succeed.

Mira still keeps the mannerisms she learned in the palace. She is polite and well spoken at all times, though this is mostly to keep up appearances. When she is alone, among friends and family she can drop the façade, and act like herself.

Magic and her mind.

A set of rings given to her by her father on her 18th birthday. Engraved in across both rings are the names of her family on the inside, and on the outside is engraved a phrase of power, allowing the rings to strengthen the magic of the wearer.

Oddly enough, bread. She could have anything she wanted when she was in the palace, but she loved nothing more then the scent and taste of freshly made bread.

Mira is classically educated, having grown up with royal tutors, and access to the royal archives; one of the largest, if not the largest repository of knowledge in the region.

Mirabelle Velare is the youngest daughter of the Velare house. She has spent most of her life learning all she can, leaving the more visible duties of a royal child to her 2 oldest siblings, Arcturus and Sienna. Mira would rather learn all there is to know, though admittedly she let some of her other pursuits lapse in favor of worldly knowledge. She can't swing a sword worth a damn, can only passably ride a horse, and isn't any good at military tactics; but she more than makes up for it by being able to practice Aetran, and very effectively at that.
