Casper is a naturally paranoid man, made worse due to his traumatic experience with Jessica Laughlin (see history for more details), but he is also an endearing, thoughtful man. He is very intelligent, and has a deep love for his friends. Despite his age, Casper isn't bothered by ideas of masculinity or femininity, and tries his best to be a well-rounded human being, instead of conforming to gender stereotypes

Casper is motivated by what he thinks is good, or the right thing to do. He can't deny the influence that his friends have on him, either, and tends to follow whatever they are doing

Casper is possibly too dedicated to other people, though he has difficulty forming new relationships and can come across as aloof or closed-off. His sarcastic nature often depicts him as rude, even though he is generally quite polite and civil

Casper isn't prejudiced against anyone

Casper is a very good chef, and is efficient at cleaning. He can do a variety of complicated card tricks, and has a great poker face; this is limited to unemotional situations, however, and he never gambles for profit (only for fun)

Cooking, organisation, practicing magic, and badminton are Casper's main hobbies. Working with Douglas Franklin, he tends to be too busy to put any of these into practice

  Adelaide Price; his boss' wife. They didn't spend much time together, one-on-one, however they always got along, and did have a lot of good memories with one another

  Ruth McCann; his murderer, though they didn't really know each other. By chance, a week before she decided to kill him, Casper picked Ruth up whilst she was hitchhiking in New York. During the ride, she realised who he was, and decided that he was high-profile enough to be her final victim. Casper hated her (in the brief moments leading up to his violent death) due to her ridiculing of his temperament and religion

• Jessica Laughlin; his ex-colleague, and former best friend. They worked together as Father and Sister at their local church, where Jessica got the idea to bring in money through arms dealing, acting like it was from donations, as well as stealing money from the legitimate donations. The pair did this successfully for YEARS. Like, thirty-odd years, but the second the police started to investigate, Jessica threw Casper under the bus. Douglas Franklin saw it on the news, and was impressed. He brought him a proper lawyer, who helped him to be found not guilty, before taking him under his wing as a replacement for Michael Warner. Up until his death at the hands of Ruth McCann, Casper loathed her for her cold, abrupt betrayal of him

Casper does not involve himself in politics, but he is probably liberal at heart
