Born to Jason King and Carrie King, they give him up to their neighbor, Val Reed, and left him there. They didn't want to have a kid so they had asked Val if he would take the kid in. He agreed but only if they took care of him until he was old enough to eat regular food. They did and Val took Seth in when he turned 1.

Seth was brought up with a strict but very caring father. He had a great childhood, no real troubles until he turned 21. Val passed away from a massive heart attack. Seth buried his father in the nearby graveyard. He lived in the same house but little did he know, most of the village he lived in disliked Val, do to his off-putting nature.

While he was out tending to the grave, some people came by and tried to destroy the grave. He yelled at them to leave and before he was going to fight them off, a woman asked why he was yelling, he explained and watched as the perpetrators ran away. The woman, Karla, introduced herself and they spoke a little bit before she said that she had to get back home. They spoke for a little bit before she said she had to get back home. Before she left, she said she'd like to keep in touch. He said he'd like that and they parted ways. She kept contact with Seth, helping him with the loss of his father and becoming a mother figure to him. She even took her daughters, Ayana and Lily, to met him a few times. While his life turned to be very eventful, his life would change even more next year...
