All information about this character
Looks
160 lbs
6'2"
Golden Blonde
Very windblown looking gold hair, swept back and long. Kept in a very thin ponytail going straight down his back.
A smidge of hair on his chin and that's it.
A very pale lime green color
Bosmer (Wood Elf)
Tanned, with the natural darker golden hue that most bosmer have.
A very thin build, with long elegant limbs that were made for moving swiftly and for distance, not physical labor.
He has eyebrow slits on the right side, two thin lines. Large scars on the shoulder and forearms. The shoulder wound looks like a burn mark and the forearms look like wounds from animal teeth or rock marks. Thin jagged cuts in random spots.
Thin nose and face, and upturned eyes. Very full lips, always pulled up in a smirk. Was always slightly self-conscious of his ears.
Nature
Myriil walks with a light step, seeming to never make a sound even on dried leaves.
(The Bosmer literally have a book called The One Thousand Benefits of Hiding.)
He keeps his head high, but when entering a room has a habit of mapping out all possible exits.
Struggles with eye-contact, but covers it well by doing other things.
He craves adventure and while his father still lives, wanders the world learning more of other peoples and cultures. As well as fighting his own personal demons.
He struggles with staying still and when scared or startled he can become extremely aggressive. His first response to something new is usually kill, and the next one is 'maybe we should talk'.
Not a big fan of Altmer (High Elves), seeing as they carry out regular purges on his people and then he still has to entertain their diplomats and bow and scrape to their Dominion.
Myriil, like most of his people, is an incredible hunter. Talented with bows and arrows, sneaking, and travelling very quickly through rough terrain. He's good at making small trinkets or baubles out of scrap.
Painting, hunting, socializing, and scheming.
Myriil is an intuitive and creative person, with a very easy amiability about him. He's trained in the social graces and knows how to hold an interesting conversation. He's quick-witted and amusing, but somewhat fickle about important topics. Some of his friends call him aloof, and flighty might just be the best adjective to describe him sometimes. A bit of a mischief maker in his free time.
His scars make it hard for him to stretch out one of his arms to the fullest extent. Of course, being a wood elf, he's still crazy flexible, but not as much as he could be. The scars open easily.
Social
Follows Y'ffre, the forest god, for his patronage.
He's concerned with all politics regarding his nation, and those bordering them.
Myriil is a prince, but the third in line, so adventures, shirking his responsibilities.
Leaf green, the same shade as his eyes, or dull gold.
As a strict carnivore, Myriil likes fish best.
A notebook he's kept since childhood, it shows the progression of his thoughts, art, and life, all bound in a well-worn journal.
Bow & Arrows made of treated and shaped bones.
Leopard
History
November 11
Being born royalty, he was given as much education as he could. Imported book, private tutors, lessons on history, politics, science, philosophy, fighting, etc, etc. Myriil absorbed knowledge well and is well versed in most subjects.
The Camoran kings have long been figureheads under the Septim dynasty, and especially under the Aldmeri Dominion. Still, they have some measure of powers and privileges allotted to them. Myriil grew up under these privileges. Being young and full of pride however, he volunteered to fight in the Great War. His family didn't protest, in fact they encouraged the idea, but he was made to be a messenger where most assumed he'd never even see combat. They were wrong. When the war ended, Myriil returned home, bearing his scars and a changed view on the world.
Family
Myriil keeps a hunting falcon, as the swift animals can keep up with the Hunt. And any shed feathers make for desired talismans and accessories.
He's the third eldest of eleven kids. His parents took 'an heir and a spare' and made it 'an heir, a spare, and maybe a few dozen more?' He's fiercely loyal to his siblings and would give the world to them in a heart-beat, if he got to twist their arm a bit first. His parents are a bit more distant, not much time to bond with kids when you have a country and court to run, and just short of a dozen of them running around.
Honestly unsure of if he's arranged to get married. He's never asked and no one has ever told him anything so- To be fair, he could be married and I don't think he'd stick around anyways.
Notes
-Follows the Green Pact the pact dictates Bosmer cannot kill, injure, or eat any vegetation. It also means cannibalism.
-Strict carnivore
Outfit
Myriil likes to wear whatever the local population is wearing when he travels. He likes light weight clothes, things that won't slow him down and breathe easily.
He likes leathers and furs for cold climates.
When at home he has to wear clothes of the state, despite them not being close to representative of what the Bosmer population wears. Its very ceremonial, complete with a little capelet, it's almost militaristic, with elements of nature thrown in. He hates it.
He has one pierced ear, that he likes to switch out what earring he has daily. Anything from gold, to feathers, to bone.
Eye-liner probably. He could pull it off.
Abilities
-Can command animals. (Racial trait)
