Maki was born to Black parents in Celebration, Florida, and lived a pretty breezy life up until middle school. Her uncle died, which took a huge toll on her since he had practically raised her along with her parents. She was diagnosed with clinical depression and was excused from school for a month. She had no friends and was left to her own devices. She started making friends online. Her online friends had helped her through her depression, allowing her to go outside for more than just a necessary trip to the grocery store, and encouraged her to go through a full transformation. When she came back to school, she was a completely different person, if not a little loony and eccentric. She's a lot happier now and had since accepted her uncles' death.
Notes
- Is actually quit e a good singer. Has a voice more suited for indie-rock or riot grrl music (rumbling and powerful), so that's why she didn't try out as vocalist for the band. She prefers to rap anyways.
