Cherisian believes in all of the Gods from Teyvat, but her main focus is on the Anemo Archon, Barbatos, as that is the God of Mondstadt, where she lives.

Cherisian adores the book that her mother had gotten her when she was a little kid. The book title is, "The Fox In The Dandelion Sea". She rereads it from time to time when she has the chance.

Cherisian was given her claymore when she got her version, at first it was just a simple steel claymore, but when she had gotten a new one custom-made, she's stuck with it since. She summons it in when she needs to battle, and puts it back just as easily.

Cherisian loves dogs. She loves sitting beside the dogs in town and petting them all day long. Ever since Velverosa and Miscbeth came along though, she hasn't had the time.

Cherisian was born on June 28th, 819.

Cherisian does not have a proper school education, as she is a female and when she was growing up, her mother did not have the money to send her to school, as Cherisian did a lot of the work alongside her mom.

Cherisian was born in Mondstadt and was raised with a single mother, her dad died right before she was born. This left her mother in great grief, often taking out her anger on her only daughter, Cherisian. When Cherisian's mother had suddenly left the house one day, she was left to doing everything by herself. They had owned a small business in town, it was for cleaning carts and they served breakfast to passer-bys in the mornings. Cherisian was in charge of this breakfast, but she made the choice to transform the cleaning carts business into a full all-day cafe, and that's where she met her ex-husband, Juha. Juha was always a bit out of himself, and he abused her quite often whenever he grew drunkened. He cheated on her with girls from the taverns, and she was left to work late shifts as her husband hooked up with tavern workers. Cherisian married Juha when she turned 16, as Juha's parents wanted that, and since she didn't have any, she had no say. As she was forcefully married to someone who abused her, her mental health drained badly. As she was left to washing dishes and making food, which were indeed the things she was best at. She took those couple of years until she turned 21 to perfect her serving quality, practice more and more cultural dishes from all over Teyvat, and work on speaking to people.

When she turned 21, this younger girl who looked around the age of 15 or 16 came into the cafe for the first time. This girl's name is Tiya, Cherisian and her would turn out to be very good friends. Cherisian and Tiya hung out on the daily during work hours and after. When Cherisian wasn't with her husband, she was spending time with Tiya. The difference between them is that Tiya was more reliant on other people, which made Cherisian extremely over-protective in a way. But after a freak accident, and a run-in with some of the wrong people, Tiya was murdered. Cherisian claimed herself to be responsible of her best friend's murder, so this made her even more restrictive on who she spoke to. She kept to herself and her ex-husband, only talking to him for a good while. He treated her harshly even after Tiya's death.

She started getting these strange feelings once Tiya died, as if she knew the person who had killed her friend. She couldn't quite put her finger on whom, though. These thoughts bothered Cherisian for a very, very long time. She had made a few other bonds with some of her old customers, but never acted on them like she had done with Tiya. She loved Tiya like a sister, and she carries the younger girl's memory with her wherever she goes. Bad luck seemed to follow her afterwards, a loss in income, and her ex-husband's drinking problems were getting worse, everything seemed on the bad end of the stick with Cherisian, until she met Velverosa.

Cherisian grew up with a small dog who died when she was very young. He died when she was 3. His name was Charlies, and he was her dad's service animal, who went with her father everywhere, as her mother told her.
