Lucas is straight forward, honest and never beats around the bush. He says what ever is on his mind, his opinions and disagreements. He's usually the person to look at the glass as half full and half empty, he'll try to cheer you up, but still be honest about it, he won’t give you false reassurances, if thats what you're looking for, he won’t give it to you. He's confident in himself, always holding his head high. He's neither overly kind, but not overly rude either. He cares deeply for his close friends and family. He also enjoys making people laugh. It’s difficult to make him upset, usually, you have to offend his friends for him to get upset. he also has a soft spot for animals.

The habit to say whatever is on his mind, the moment it’s on his mind. It usually ends up with Luc insulting many people and saying things that can be quite rude.

He believes that he is not good enough. So he's prejudiced against himself.

He has a talent for music. Hand him any instrument, and after a few hours of messing around, he can already play the basics.

He loves reading, he’ll bite your head of if you interrupt him with something stupid.

He hates beating around the bush, when asked a question, he'll give you his honest answer. He's concise about his answers, not drawing them out, preferring to use as few words possible to get his meaning across. He rarely stumbles over his words, confident in himself and believes in what he is saying.
Sometimes, he's honest to the point of being brutal. He never realizes until it’s too late that his words hurt people sometimes, and that sometimes honesty isn’t what people need or want. He believes to lie is to not have trust in the person you’re talking to.
He always says what’s on his mind, sometimes even blurting it out randomly. If he has a problem and is asked what’s wrong, he won’t say ‘nothing’ or ‘I’m fine’ he'll sit down and tell you. he thinks that being open about your feelings to people you care about means you trust them to help you and you want them to know what you feel.
He hates false reassurances, he thinks that they’re lies, when it’s not going to be okay, he'll tell you it won’t and prefers to be told the same. He gets annoyed when told that everything will be fine when it clearly won’t. Or that his friend is fine when she’s clearly upset.
He never goes out of his way to be kind, but doesn’t go out of his way to be rude either. He's just. . . in the middle. He doesn’t take to rudeness very well, disliking when someone is rude to him or his loved ones. He's pretty clear headed and never really gets upset. He can take insults all day, when you start picking on his friends, that’s when he gets upset. He comes to his friends defense anytime they need him, but he'll leave them to fight their own battles as well.
Making people laugh makes him smile and sometimes even laugh himself, he has a wicked sense of humor, and will use sarcasm a lot in her day to day life.

Home Schooled

Lucas was born in West Sussex, the time being 9:34 PM.
He lived with just his mother (Marina Benedict) and father (Micheal Benedict) for 6 years until his little brother, Nate was born. About 2 years after Nate was born, when Luc was about 8,
his father died in a crash. His father had always loved reading and his job was selling books. He had been on his way to work when the crash ended his life happened.
Luc had been at home working with his mother on his school lessons (Luc had been homeschooled his whole life), when the call from the healer had come in saying that his father was in the clinic and in fatal condition. By the time Luc, her mother and Nate had reached the hospital, Micheal Starr was dead. This was a particularly hard time for Luc’s mother, who had relied on her husband as the sole income for the family. She had been a stay at home mother from the day she knew she was pregnant with Lucas, and she hadn’t had a job in 9 years. She found it difficult to keep her dead husband’s book store running and eventually, she closed it. Luc had also found this time hard, she had been close with her father, who had always told her fantastic stories he had wished to write when he was younger.
When his mother closed her fathers shop, Lucas was at a loss of what to do, he had loved spending time in the shelves of the used book store, it had reminded him of her father so much. After a while, Luc’s mother told him and Nate that they were moving due to a job opportunity in … . The family had packed their things and moved off to London .
Luc continues his homeschooling, frequently going out and meeting new people, always remembering his father’s words, ‘Keep offering that hand, eventually, someone with take it’. So, he always went out and made friends, or enemies, as Lucas quickly discovered, he didn’t have any social cues or any control when it came to speaking and always told the truth.
Even with his brunt nature, he quickly became friends with a girl named Valiana Chequ, also known as Asia to her friends. He always felt comfortable with her best friend when it was just the two of them together.

He has no pets, but he wants to get a cat.

Lucas is one of my adaptable characters; Meaning I’ll RP with him in any world setting, change his age based on the world, etc.
Another thing to note is that Lucas is gay, this wont change at all.
