Rye has preternatural stillness, and stands with it no mater what. He doesn’t fidget at all unless he’s extremely uncomfortable.

Rye is motivated by the urge to protect his home and the hundreds of other inhabitants in it as well.
Also with a burning curiosity to learn more about the world and the way it works.

He’s hot tempered and looses his cool easily. He can get provoked at the slightest thing, and this usually ends up with him being brash.

Because of the way his mother raised him, he defaults to seeing and kind of human as harmful to him and his home.

He loves spending time with the animals in the woods and reading.

Rye believes in the pantheon of gods that rule over her world, but she is not a devout follower. He acknowledges their existence, but rarely prays or does other things.

He follows his own rules, and never really bothers others unless they are a threat to himself or his woods.

He's a protector of his woods, taking on his mother’s occupation after she passed. Many think Rye is a forest sprite or nymph, though he is neither. Some also think he's a god of the forest. But he's just a wood faerie with human blood and makes it his job to protect the woods.

Rye was taught by his mother. He knows how to read, write and speak in Aligerian (The main language in my universe) and the ancient language of the Fae.
He knows basic arithmetic.
He also has vast knowledge of anything to do with Mother Nature.

Ryelee is the daughter of a Wood Faerie and a Human. The outcome of a tragic event in her mothers life that turned into a wonderful blessing.

Ryelee grew up in a small cabin in the woods with her mother. She looked exactly like her father, who didn’t even know she existed. The only thing she had inherited from her mother, was the unnatural beauty and the pointy ears.

As a girl, Ryelee developed a slightly defiant nature due to her mother’s teachings. Do not let men boss you around, was her mother’s most perched thing. Men do not rule over us. We are people too. Ryelee has always had this in mind, and has always been careful to avoid men. Especially human men.

Her unnatural beauty caused her plenty of trouble once she got older, and she hit puberty. She started to gain the attention of people. Most of it was polite and kind, but sometimes, it was not. Ryelee swiftly learned to defend herself, and avoided going into the town that was on the outskirts of the woods.
