On the palms of his hands, the skin seems to almost be bleached in a pattern similar to a four pointed star. It covers most of the skin, and the bottom most point extends down his wrists and ends halfway to his elbows

He's very self reliant. Meaning that most of his motivation is to make sure he's in a good spot.

(Although, he has a very mysterious past, that he doesn't remember all that well ..if only there were a way to figure out what happened to his brothers)

Hes very reliant on his magic, both physically and mentally. While this is a strength sometimes, it also means that if he doesn't have access to his magic, he'd be like a sitting duck at best. (Magically nullifying objects legitimately hurt him. He lives, breathes, and exists in magic. Not having it is like having his limbs chopped off and eyes gouged out)

None, he's rlly been through enough to know that people shouldn't be judged by appearance or class alone.

His magic is the main talent. He has three prominent magical abilities.

Portals - its self explanatory, he can create portals. Usually they're only big enough for him to travel through. Portals are second nature to him, he's incredibly fast and agile. Of course this comes at a price. The more portals he makes the more his energy is drained. And if he tries making a bigger portal than usual it'd take alot more focus and effort.

Soul search - this requires more concentration and dedication to pull off. Hes able to enter a headspace that allows him to find someone by their unique magic/energy. This power requires him to be still for a few minutes at a time, which could put him at risk if attack. (Id like to think that he also has a more powerful version of this, that saps his energy really quick, meaning that he rarely uses it. But basically he can astral project and become a ghost, in a sense, leaving his body behind and being able to spy and observe on the happenings around him. Of course there's a limit to how far he goes, and if something happens to his body in this state, he's basically screwed.)

Magical Leach - basically he's able to sap an object (or a person's) magical energy and use it to replenish himself. It's easy for him to bite off more than he can chew, and become overwhelmed and basically useless.

The markings on his hands glow when he uses any of these abilities.

Chaotic neutral/evil (it really sways between the two)

Hes a full time theif. Growing up poor and on the streets, it's a common thing for him to steal just to get by. It started out small; food, clothing, so and so. But when he figured out he could sell what he stole..well, it escalated quickly. He's a wanted criminal and he's stolen many a precious magic artifact just for some coin.

His cloak. It's very dear to him, though it's visibly tattered in places.

When it comes to weapons he has a good amount of daggers and knives he will use.

It's a very foggy, mysterious past indeed. He grew up an orphan, yes. His entire life on the streets. But before that he was something - someone - else. Legends tell of an ancient race of star people, living embodiments of light and prosperity. They were silent , distant watchers over the world, many feared them. But others worshipped them. They had a divine power no other being could possess. But over the years they slowly dwindled down. Going from 50, to 20, to 10, then to 5. Noone knew why they were disappearing and many thought this was an omen of the endtimes. Then one day, the sky erupted in chaos. Blinding, bright light, a loud roaring, explosions and otherworldly screams the likes of noone had ever heard before. Some say, that night, they saw a lone, falling star hurtling towards the earth..

The sky remained dark and silent after that night.

Iron is his biggest weakness. Even being touched by the metal will nullify his powers and burn his skin. God forbid someone manages to put him in iron cuffs.
