Overview
Phantom
Alice Miller, but if you call her that you’re dead.
Genetically modified human
17
A former hero.
Female, she/her
AroAce
ENA (Meanie) (ENA: Dream BBQ)
Alive
Appearance
6’0
Decently muscled, being an attempted super-soldier and all that. Flat-chested and broad-shouldered; her gender would likely be hard to discern when she’s wearing her suit.
Pale
The most prominent one is a scar on her face—distinct claw marks trailing diagonally from her left temple to her right cheek. Her hands are perpetually scraped and calloused, despite her suit having gloves. There’s also very precise cuts on her wrists and upper arms, likely from a razor blade.
Light blue, with a red undertone that varies in intensity
Light blonde, almost white
Short wolf cut, messy as all fuck
Nature
She’s quite rude and standoffish at surface level, tending to push everyone away at even the slightest wrong move. She’s very snappy and aggressive, and avoids socialization if possible, which is a bit easier now considering her circumstances.
Truthfully, it’s all self-defense. There’s one, maybe two, people in her life that didn’t hurt her, and if she keeps everyone away she’ll be safe. Right?
Once you get to know her, the rudeness sort of fades into friendly sarcasm. She acts like she doesn’t care, but really, she does. She’s at her most vulnerable around Glitch, even now, when she’s isolating from everyone.
Survival and revenge.
Both clever and physically strong, agile, intuitive. She knows how to stand up for herself, and for others (if she cares enough), and she’s VERY passionate.
Hand-to-hand combat, and surprisingly, knife fighting as well. Like. All of her skills pertain to fighting.
Extremely distrustful, downright aggressive, stubborn, refuses to listen to anyone if their motives conflict with hers, vengeful and holds grudges for a long time.
She never had time to get a hobby 💔
Conditions

Disabilities/Conditions: Albinism, chronic pains & frequent migraines from dimension-hopping all the time, some lung condition from smoking

History
...Let’s just get this over with.
A teenage girl storms down the hall of a nondescript building, frantically followed by two people, who look to be scientists of some sort.
My name is Phantom. That’s all you, or anyone, will ever know me by.
As she passes, the scene changes. She’s suddenly unconscious on an examination table, hooked up to odd machinery. One of the people from earlier seems to be injecting her with a strange substance now.
In a past life, I was just some experiment. They messed with my genes, injected stuff into my blood... they were trying to make me some kind of super-soldier.
The scene changes again. The girl seems to be flickering in and out of focus, looking around frantically, as if confused. The next scene shows her vomiting into a bucket, then fainting.
I got some cool powers, I guess. But usually they just made me really sick. They’d give me poison to see what I could take.
She is now hanging onto a wall, sticking to it by her hands and feet. She looks down at someone, and her blue eyes now have an unnerving red undertone. She lets out an odd hiss.
At some point, they gave me this weird spider venom. It... took a while to get used to the effects. But once I did...
The scene changes to the girl sprinting through the same hall as before, alarms sounding in the background as she was chased down. She broke through an emergency exit, escaping. The scene changes again to her lurking in an alleyway, her clothes now stained and worn, and she looks pale and malnourished.
I got out. I decided to lay low, even if it nearly cost me my life.
I know what you’re thinking, but no. I never became some hero. All I did was survive. But for some reason, they still found me.
The girl stands in front of a colorful portal, looking more wary than astonished.
The Spider-Society.
I wish this story had ended there.
The scene changes many times. First, she’s walking across a bridge, looking around somewhat fearfully. Next, she stands atop a building, looking down. She’s now wearing a light blue suit, with metallic, armor-like details and a hood pulled over her head. Her mask’s eyes were narrowed.
I tried to be what they wanted me to be. A hero.
The scene switches rapidly between her in her suit, fighting unidentifiable people, and her pacing back and forth in her room, gesturing angrily and ranting to herself. Eventually, she is seen punching the wall and cursing.
But no matter what I did, it wasn’t good enough. Too reckless, too dangerous, I got every criticism under the sun, and for what? I was never cut out for this. I told him so. And yet, it all came crashing down on ME.
She’s standing in the lab now, seeming to be in a shouting match with someone. Miguel O’Hara. She looks enraged, gesturing accusatorially at Miguel, who looks to be equally angry. She looks ready to attack him, but before she can—
She now stands in an alleyway, stamping something out on the ground. She looks up, and a not-quite-healed scar can be seen across her face. Claw marks stretching diagonally from her temple to her cheek. The camera zooms in on her eyes, the red hue almost overpowering the blue now. Then the scene cuts to black.
And now I’m here. Making his life a living hell, from a distance. I guess it’s my little way of getting revenge.
