Normal:

He likes to be comfortable, function over fashion.

Suit:

His suit consists mostly of thick armor plating that acts as an exoskeleton. It is colored brown, and has short fur on most of it. Some details have longer fur or no fur. Forearm armor plating has sharp spikes along it that aid in combat. In between the seams, a darker brown color pokes through. The armored gloves are clawed (and retractable), and the helmet is reminiscent of a spider’s head with eight shiny black eyes; and chelicerae on each side of the helmet with two large curved fangs that protrude out of them. Yes, they are technically not in the right place, so they're more like a mix of the chelicerae and pedipalps.

Chill af and despite his intimidating build is a sweetheart. Loves animals and even became a biologist/environmental researcher to make an effort to save endangered species and ecosystems.

Acts of service.

Probably a bit raspy and damaged. Generally speaks in a quiet voice unless a louder one is needed. Has a thick Spanish accent that sometimes leads to mispronunciations.

Spider-man abilities
Webs, spider-sense, super-strength, hypnotism, etc. However, climbing up walls is aided by claws rather than his webs.

Spider-suit
Infrared and night vision. Claws built into the gloves of the suit allow for extra climbing strength and work as a weapon. Noise modulator enhances pre-existing abilities.

Note: He has claws both on his hands and as a function in his suit. They do not protrude in the same way Miguel O’Hara’s do, however they do share a similar function since Dante’s ability to wall-climb is very inhibited.

After the spider bite he gained the ability to make a sort of hissing or purring noise that when used properly can hypnotize. This, combined with the mechanics of the voice modulator in his suit, can emit sonic waves that can distract, inhibit, or completely immobilize a person.

Hola. Let’s do this again, shall we?

A large figure wearing heavy brown armor jumps from the top of a building, landing squarely on his feet into the empty streets below. The eight black eyes of his helmet glint in the dull streetlights.

My name is Dante Escarra.

He reaches up, pulling his helmet off of his head. He appears to be in his later twenties.

While documenting wildlife in the Amazon rainforest, I came across what appeared to be a new species of Theraphosa blondi. However, it attacked and bit me when I approached.

The surroundings change, and so does his outfit. He looks significantly younger. He’s weaving through jungle foliage, and he seems to spot something ahead of him. He approaches and crouches on the ground. He looks away for a moment to grab something, but when he glances back he loses balance and falls to the ground.

As it turned out, the spider was mutated and radioactive.

He looks down at his hand. It had a large spider-bite on it, and was already starting to swell. He shook his head and lifted himself off the ground, quickly walking back in the same direction he came.

My body underwent many physical changes. Some more obvious than others.

The next day he wakes up, tiredly walking to the door and narrowly avoiding hitting his head on the top of the doorframe.

It has been several years since then. And during those years, I became what is known as the Goliath-Spider. You know the rest, yes?

There are several scenes of change. First, he’s fighting someone in a dark alleyway. Second, he’s welding pieces of metal together. And then lastly, he’s seen in an early version of his spider-armor.

I lost my tío, who had taken care of me for most of my life, in a terrible accident.

He’s at a funeral now, standing over a freshly dug gravesite. He kneels down, resting his head on the headstone.

. . . And then another good friend of mine.

It’s dark again, and raining. He’s on his knees, holding someone in his arms. He appears to be crying.

Life has taken much from me. So I want to make sure that I can save as many people as I can. So that others do not suffer as I have.

The scene fades to black, before erupting in flames. A young child alone in a burning house, stumbling over something as he tries to escape. His brother. Dead. The child runs as fast as he can through the flames to get away.

That is the main reason why I accepted the invitation to join the Spider-Society.

He’s back in the present, once again wearing his armored spider-suit. Now, he’s walking through the branching halls of the Spider-Society. He seems. . . tired.
