He can come off as severely cocky because of how much of his personality he has based around his prowess as a fighter and aspiring courtier.

He thinks himself a bit of a Renaissance Man, but really is pretty middling at most of his acquired pastimes except for dancing and fighting. (He tries to do way too much as some compensation for being baseborn while also flaunting his baseness as a kind of unique quirk, making a mental complex that is compounded by his family really spoiling him and inordinately hyping him up about his mid-ass skills).

He hasn't yet had the reality check his personality is desperately begging for.

He is fiercely loyal to the Paleja family, almost to a fault. Oddly enough, this counter-intuitively spurred on his friendships with Oriel and Vamah, and eventually, his inspiration to propose an engagement between Oriel and his cousin.

He is a flourishing courtling at Soleád, though illegitimate. (His extended family is inordinately fond of him and have treated him like an -enroh, rather than a -ne). He helps the tutors wrangle the Attendants of the Court, as a graduate of the group still lingering at court due to his un-inheriting nature.

Purple- goes well with gold and stands out as particularly luxurious. Also one of the colors of the Paleja family

Born from a Paleja noblewoman and a jewel merchant she had met at a festival in the city. Both died, and so Enteo was named such and raised begrudgingly by his aunt, quickly becoming a doted-upon and adored gem of their family (aka he's horribly spoiled and has a misplaced sense of himself, often forgetting that he is a bastard and nobody outside of his family really takes it seriously).

He was educated alongside his legitimate cousin(s), later taking up courses at The Academies at Soleád and vying for power as one of the The Attendants of Soleád (basically a young courtier).

• Enteo was the one to propose a union between Oriel and his cousin, being good friends with Oriel in Soleád and thinking they would be a great match. Having heard from Oriel of Vamah's and Estus' close relationship, he is intensely curious that they seem so strained when he finally meets them.

Name roughly translates as follows:
Enteo----> "of the merchant class" (from 'teodes,' "The People," from the Old Vældic 'Þoða')
Joyé----> "Jeweler"
Arteoses----> Artisans/ Skilled Workers
Ne-Paleja----> Recognized Bastard of the Paleja family
