Jack is a very motive-driven person. When given a task, he will choose to finish it no matter how hard or how long it may take. His dedication to tasks was shown when he built his dog's doghouse all by himself at the age of ten. When his mother was taken from him after the Battle of Community City, his motive changed from simply finishing the job to getting his mother back safely.

Because of Jack's urge to finish everything he is given, he can sometimes get too focused and not think about collateral damage or other side effects. He can dive in to situations without hesitation and sometimes get himself into a mess. This was demonstrated when...

None, although he has a disliking of bullies, particularly since he was bullied in school as a child (looking accusingly at Blue)

Jack is a fast learner, particularly when it comes to learning combat skills; he was one of the top ten students in soldier training. In just a few weeks, he can already hold his own in a small battle. He is also a very adept self-taught musician.

Jack is very interested in collecting various paraphernalia from nature, especially shells and rock formations. He loves humming small tunes that he has learned on his favourite instrument, the ocarina.

Jack is more of an introverted character. He is quite a polite boy, as raised by his mom, but can deliver some nasty retorts is provoked. He doesn't do well in comforting situations and can stand there quite awkwardly with nothing to say when faced with unfamiliar situations. He is a restless sleeper and tends to sleepwalk and/or fall out of his bed while snoozing.

Jack loves dogs. Any kind of dogs: big ones, small ones, ugly ones, cute ones, you name it. He can't resist petting any dog that he sees. He also has a soft spot for rabbits.

Jack prefers to battle with a one-handed sword, usually a straight-bladed weapon. However, he doesn't know it yet, but he is also a pretty good brawler.
